You are off to a great start. Just wait till you try out the new stuff!![]()
I can't wait to try something a little more challenging. A lot of this one was me working on technique. I had never used a PC before always a rotary. At first I wasn't using enough compound and not working it until it broke down. Once I started doing that, and got used to the machine it really started to work out the scratches and the really really bad hard water stains. Their are still some scratches left in the paint, but I will get them next time. I am (depending on weather) going to give it a wack with the old mans ranger this weekend. It has been probably 5 years since the truck was buffed, and probably a year or so since it was even waxed. Should be a pretty dramatic change. I am going to take 2 days on it and try to get lots of pics and document it. Just haven't received my backing plates yet. So I have pads and no way to attach them to the PC. Had to use the one freebie pad I got with the PC for this one.
