Mine was a little over $1k from bestbuy since it was cheaper there even than Apple education pricing. I looked at the air, but the pro was the better choice for me. The retina screen, more power, more ports, etc... were a big deal for me

$1k Sounds like a pretty good deal. Luckily mine was a business perk. I have the big boy 15" MacBook Pro. I didn`t get the fastest CPU or 1tb hard drive and it was $2500. But it was well worth it. I do a lot of stuff on mine: video, currently learning Affinity Designer, photo editing, gaming, etc.

Thanks Marc! No sir, these were orders since January was I as assigned overseas, so I just had the chance to open them up. Plus I kind of forgot what I`ve been ordering lol, most I part out to friends. I was trying to copy Ron but he is king. Bad, bad ACC sales I blame Ray and Paul for the lack of restraint ��
