Looks like this is the year of the Cicadas up here and they should be emerging any time now. These things are Interesting because they only come out of the ground around every 17 years. I was fairly young the last time they were here, but I remember them leaving their exoskeletons everywhere and being noisy (similar to a cricket). It was almost as bad as the Mayflies that I posted about not too long ago. Here`s a link for anyone interested in more specifics (such as Ray).

And this is what we get to look forward to cleaning up.

Yeah, I saw this happen in my backyard 3 years ago. Freaked the wife and kids out at first. The really odd thing is bee`s and ant`s try to kill/eat the Cicadas while they are warming their wings on the tree.

It is a wonderful thing to see and my kids and I learned a lot (couldn`t believe I hadn`t noticed this ever before)

I had read a comment somewhere on the internet that this bathroom gender issue may end up with the men`s rest room line being as long as the women`s. Typically, a major events the women`s restroom line is always longer and also getting complaints about the seat being left down...

SOB- metal piece from road construction stuck in my tire. Could hear the hissing air from inside the cabin.

Hopefully they can patch it...michellin doesn`t even make that tire anymore

Guess im spending lunch at discount tire...just glad i live right by there and heard it. It was flat by the time the guy walked outside to my truck

Dude that sucks... I have a screw in one tire, and it`s a slooooooooooooow leak... kinda waiting for it to finally get worse.

Yea..i can live with it happening..it could have been worse....

What i dont like is the possibility that i will have to get a new tire that does not match at all. it`ll look silly and my truck deserves better.

They said my tread is low, prolly should get new tires by Christmas anyways but thats a long time to look at 1 oddball tire

And what if it doesnt ride like the other one, nice and quiet.

I guess I`ll have to bring it back and toss it through their window (loved that commercial growing up)

not withouth ordering it.. and it had worse ribbed ridges than the yoko they sold me

o well. I guess I will just buy 3 more tires come xmas bonus money

I can`t drive my car in these storms (well I WON`T) so I had to get a tire for my truck (the spare is from factory so they wouldn`t put it on)

Yea it has since been discontinued. I like the darker blue myself than the old lighter. They were having lots of problems with the old blue peeling.
