Ill be the first to admit that President Obama didnt do everything right, but when I see information like Angus posted above and consider Obama got no support or cooperation from the Republican House and Senate it amazes me when I hear numerous negative comments regarding Obama. Much of it seems like outright hatred. And its been going on since day one of his presidency.

For years, he didnt need ANY republican support. Dems had a "super majority". They/he didnt need one Republican vote to do anything.

You have to believe there is waste in a $600 billion spending by the government. This is the same government many state cannott spend $1 Million right.
Trump really is an independent that ran as Republican by taking advantage of the spintered republican party and also explains why Boehner nor Ryan have been able to pass any meaningful legislation. So the GOP is running on the usual FUD rather than defending real legislation they claim they want (tax cuts, fund the wall, deport aliens, increase defense budet). The problem is they are hampered by the sequestration rules. The proper case have specific bills (lets call it House Bill xxxx) and make the election about these bills.

Only in America do we have a department that is not audited...defense spending. Nobody knows where the waste is or what is needed. 6 billion alone is unaccounted for in the Iraq war. Just disappeared off the books. We spend more on defense than the next 9 countries combined including China and Russia. Are we safer as a result? Anybody with a pulse knows we aren`t. In fact had we stayed home the last 16 years we`d be much safer and our rights thanks to the patriot act would not be had. Drinking water will soon be a commodity in this country. Fracking and spending money rebuilding Iraq instead of Detroit or other cities is literally killing Americans every day. Many counties in California don`t have clean drinking water anymore. The hazardous fracking chemicals have limited their aquifers. No, we need to refocus on America. Let the damn middle eastern countries clean up our mess.

When people say they`re going to move out of the country if X wins... I say go ahead. If your willing to leave the country because of a person appointed to public office then you obviously aren`t to happy with your situation regardless. Eh, they don`t clean up *any* messes that I can tell. Other than Isreal and the states where an Autocrat still rules with an iron fist (which aren`t exactly calm peaceful places either), IMO the whole Middle East is simply a chaotic mess. And that Chaos wants to cross the seas and eliminate all the Unbelievers.
I simply *HATE* that American lives are being lost over there, and yeah the $ bugs me too, but I worry that if we leave things`ll devolve into Something Worse and that Something won`t stay contained.

Am I safer here than if I was in China or Russia? I think so. Part of it is where ever your "here" is. I`m pretty sure nobody is going to drag me out of bed tonight from the government and shoot me - then cover it up. Those other places - who knows?
Dunno where your at - but I`m in PA. A lot of peeps legally have guns here - Thank God. If any wacko gets squirrelly - at least there is a chance someone can take them out.
I`m sure defense spending is high. I`m not an expert by far - but that is tax money towards good use. I`d rather give $100 in tax money to defense than 50¢ to welfare or Medicaid.
Drinking water and California? Lolz. You would have to be either famous or crazy to live in CA. The government is wacko, the taxes are high, and their is less water every year. It rained here for a month straight. Saying stuff like "drinking water will soon be a commodity" is crazy prepper talk IMHO. If you want a drink here - just come over tonight and hold out your tongue.
I agree we need to forget the whole Middle East - except for Isreal. We shouldn`t build anything over there - let them live in tents made out of camel guts for all I care.

Couldn`t agree more. Man we need those people. No one can tell me they haven`t protected our interests over there and are serious warriors. I think they deserve better than we`ve given them the past 7 years.
