Snow in April ???

Well so much for detailing this weekend and trying out some new products :(

Temps are forecast in the mid 40's will a chance of light snow. I can't believe we are getting this in April when we had temps in the 80's.

I am officially ready for spring...:cool::cool:

We had 5 inches here last monday, then winds, then rain like nobody's business. I fluffed and buffed the ride yesterday and it was 45 and raining in the morning. Real nice weather. Im moving back to florida !

Spent 6 hours on the wife's car yesterday, and the main road through town was salted. Every other street is completely dry. Assholes

We had a light dusting yesterday early morning and another last night sometime. The cars in the neighborhood had a little on them as did the Expedition. I've been wanting to detail all three, but the weather's been so unpredictable. Bad as it sounds, I'm just letting them dirty till I can do it right.

Upper 20's and low 30's today with 4" or so of snow overnight..then they're calling for almost 70 next weekend. I'd love it if I never had to see snow again in my life.

Our County must have a surplus of salt. Thursday night we had a light dusting of snow and they dumped TONS of salt everywhere. Back to the white briny cars for a bit.

Lousy weather means more demand for detailing services. We had a mild winter. A few flurries in April is nothing.

You people need to move to warmer climates !:surfing

"But all my friends live here and my family" you say. Dont worry they will all come visit you in the winter!

I guess its a good thing not everyone wants to live in Florida and California.

I just got back from the Caribbean. When I left States it was hi 70's and three weeks later it is snowing. It is crazy!

INDEED! Weather is crappy in PA this weekend.

27 degrees in WI today. We were driving home last night the sun was setting and you could see the snow falling from the clouds as if they were rain clouds. Then you would drive through a blizzard of snow for 2 mins and then the sun was shining. Very unique, and very depressing.

I'm with Pat, I'm ready for spring (about 3 weeks ago). Luckily we have forecasted 60's at end of next week. At least i don't have to make excuses to sit inside and watch the Masters all day.

Edited: temps just hit 28. Ron, does the offer stand for all. I owe you dinner:)

I turned the hose bib shut off yesterday and I'm thinking about bringing my detailing stuff back into the house. Snow and rain the next couple of days so i'm not washing anything. At least we had a really nice Easter here and the kids could run around outside and find eggs.

Currently working on it. Soon as one of these applications comes through and I get a job offer the house is going on the market and we're out of here. Like you said, family will visit.

Heh heh, I haven't taken the snowtires off yet...there's (almost) always one Last Big Snow after the equinox and I guessed that this year it'd be around now.
