Snow in April ???

Sigh, you guys....This last Big Snowfall was really pretty. Yeah, I gotta clean up two vehicles, but eh...OK.

I'm not exactly a young-un' and Winter can cause me many hours of work, often every day of the week, but I sure don't HATE it and I'd miss it to some extent if I moved to an always-warm locale. I genuinely enjoy experiencing all four seasons every year.

I enjoy experiencing seasons as well, but only the ones that have days above 75. In all seriousness, me and my wife are outdoor people and love being on and around the water whenever possible. It's a lifestyle we were born into and still try to live as much as possible now, whether it's sitting on the shore or out boating. So when winter starts coming around all that fun ends and you're cooped up inside for 5-6 months of the year cursing the snow and cold temperatures because you'd much rather be sitting on the beach with a cold drink in your hand, not drinking hot cocoa by a fireplace. Like I said, if I never saw snow again I'd be perfectly fine with that since I've never been one to enjoy putting multiple layers of clothes on just to go outside.
But I realize there are people who do enjoy winter weather and doing things outside in the cold, and we call them crazy! :D

Why would you do that? Why?
I had to move here when my parents divorced (my mother is Canadian and my father said it'd be good for me [the culture]) but I stayed mostly because of; the exchange rate, health care, cheaper universities, can't convince my wife (Canadian) to move back to the US, oh and I love the food, and the Montreal women of course!

Why can't I convince my wife to move to the US? The media mostly, she thinks we'll end up getting shot in a convenience store or something (shes always watching 20/20, dateline, etc.)... I'm more of an optimist and I told her "what if I'm the one who shoots a bad guy, instead of the other way around" (no vigilantly justice allowed in Canada). I was just kidding I don't own much more than a slingshot, after all, it works good enough on Canadians (for now).

There isn't a day I don't miss my small hometown called "Tubac" back in Arizona (had a population of like 600 when I grew up there).

Ah, yeah...the boating thing does make a differece, though I've never had that cooped-up experience as I'm outside a lot anyhow regardless of the weather, what with the dogs and property-maintenance chores. Won't say that I always *enjoy* being out in winter weather all that much, but I'm OK with it.
