I just noticed a Facebook for 512 mobile detailing in austin (15 miles from me)...i dont go into austin for jobs anyways and only detail two days a week max, but i can imagine how that could become confusing for potential clients.
Should i reach out to this guy?

His fb is much more popular than mine, but ive never really advertised bc i cant take an influx of business as is.

Im using a dba do i need to inc/llc now or what?

And signature mark/trade mark name
I need to look into that this next week. i dont plan on being some giant business but i dont want someone playing off my name,,,not that they were, we don't even cross territory as far as i know, and his work looks good...but its a principle thing

Yep.

And before he accuses you of same.........

I'm currently in the process of trying to get rid of my old 35" TV circa 1993 (it's big, heavy, and doesn't work). Trash won't take it & Best Buy won't take TVs > 32".

There is no local drop off place or recyclers for old school TVs. The people that will take them charge a fee. I am diametrically opposed to this. It's like flushing $50 down the toilet.

I'm trying to think of someone who I really hate - so I can dump it on their lawn, Lolz. But, I don't hate anyone that much.

Girlfriend says smash it to bits with a sledge hammer - then sweep up the bits. Sounds funny, but I won't be doing that.

Thanks for the tip. I do have some V7 and will try it. I agree that V7 messes with LSP hydrophobics.

You can try to get rid of it on craigslist...peopel moght take it for free, but its hard enough to get rid of the big boxes normally. If it doesn't work, Yeesh call trashman for pickup? As far as smashing them.... be very careful and wear some protective gear. That is a vaccum tube and you will get an implosion. Roomate in college busted one on top of the dumpster and parts mostly glass went all over. It was cool to watch though. Good luck.

My random thought. Typing on phones is a pain in the rear. I try and go over and proof read but the little reply box bounces all over and i always seem to miss something. Or as I'm finish up a huge reply it decides to lose everything thing that i did. Oh well.

edb- y follow-up thought is how I've never typed a message into a phone. Closest I've come is typing in the info for a handful of Contacts. I've simply never sent a Text via phone.

I got great neighbors !!!!!

I keep going out looking at car, they laugh. Then I look at sky sayin I wish it would start raining.

They laugh again, knowing that I want to see the water works of new stuff. Then they say, only you would want rain right after cleaning a car.

I've gotta say I love having good neighbors. We just moved in less than 6 months ago and haven't had a chance to meet anyone out and about due to the cold, but someone's been snow blowing our drive while we're at work. I'll have to figure out who it is come summer and offer a free detail and some good brews.

I feel bad for all the people in the frozen north.

This pic was taken while I was outside grilling the steaks.

Hey, at least it'll be around 50 this weekend here. I'll finally get to wash the car for the first time in 3 weeks.

My daily driver rolled past 100,000 miles this morning. It is holding up well so plan to keep it several more years at least.

I don't own anything with less than 170,000 on the odometer right now. You've got plenty of time. ;)

in the same conversation with the boss I was advised someone had complained about me being "negative" about customers off the phone...wow I guess I can't talk to coworkers anymore....then she asks me if I can help train the new people on etiquette and gets mad when I laugh and ask if that was rhetorical (which it wasn't btw- just ironic timing) :)

good thing there's only 2 hours left today. haha

I just got a raise and I k ow I shouldn't but... I think I'm going to spend it and buy me more supplies or a McCulloch steamer. Maybe I'll just do both... Hmm... Decisions...
