I recently picked up a used BMW M3 and it had this horrible looking clear bra on it. It was starting to come off on some of the corners, so today I decided to peel it the rest of the way off.
Now there's this sticky tape-like residue left behind and I'm having a hell of a time getting it off. So far I've tried Meg's Gold car wash, bug & tar remover, and clay baring. The B&T remover has worked the best, but it's incredibly slow going and requires me scraping it off with my fingernail. Would Goo-Gone be of use here? Would it screw up the clear coat? Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm at something of a loss here.
