Griot's Garage Teaser

I guess it could be called boss coating. I didn't read the entire thing. Someone brought it up on AG. I was hoping it was a big throw polisher from them. I've been looking at rupes for quite some time, I just can't justify the price for as few cars as I do. This is the link for the trademark. It could be a whole new line called BOSS. Whatever it is I'm sure it's a quality piece if it carries griots name.

Here's one section of the Trademark application: "Power-operated polishers; power-operated buffers; backing plates for power-operated polishers and buffers; hook and loop backing plates; power-operated blowers; power-operated drying guns; multi-purpose steam cleaners; handles for power-operated polishers and buffers; gear assemblies for power-operated polishers and buffers; counterbalance and gear assemblies for power-operated polishers and buffers; pneumatic orbital polishers and buffers; pneumatic long-throw orbital polishers and buffers; pneumatic random orbital polishers and buffers"

I have some money burning a hole in my pocket, hope it's a improved DA and awaiting HD iron remover.

My official guess is, it's a new large throw polisher (Duh) and a new line of polishes for large throw polishers. The black cap / orange bottle is to distinguish the polishes for the large throw polisher.

I can't see how it's a new wax, sealant, APC, etc... Quite frankly, the timing of Griots having a forum presence and the announcement make it pretty clear to me this is what it is. I can't see it being a coating - as I don't think that would sell well.

It has to be an updated or improved Griots bread and butter product. Their polisher is probably their only class leading product.

Exactly swanicyouth. No question it's a new polisher to keep up with the other companies that continue to come out with new tools. It's no secret their chemicals have always been lacking, so doubt they would hype them up this much, even if reformulated. It's a polisher, no question. I love me some GG6 and GG3, so I could certainly see myself being a player if it's a new tool.
