Griot's Garage Teaser

Exactly swanicyouth. No question it's a new polisher to keep up with the other companies that continue to come out with new tools. It's no secret their chemicals have always been lacking, so doubt they would hype them up this much, even if reformulated. It's a polisher, no question. I love me some GG6 and GG3, so I could certainly see myself being a player if it's a new tool.
It's a DASPro Plus behind a Griot label.

I might be in too if it's a new polisher. If it's only a new product in the plastic bottles and plastic shipping bags from the pictures, a lot of people on this forum will be disappointed. I would be surprised if griots would jump on this forum and draw attention to the launch unless they are confident they will impress the pro and prosumer market found on the forums.

Here's hoping for a large throw DA with some muscle to it.

The market is pretty saturated with polishers. I guess they could go cheaper made in China route, but there are cheap ones out there already look on Alibaba, damn near giving them away. If they just slap Griots on there why spend more for the name? It better be made at least in Japan or Mexico. Lol

Griot's already sells a made in China polisher. One key Griot value add is the guarantee and customer support. With many polishers if you need help, the seller does not take returns, etc.

It would be awesome if they made them here, at home where they live and work " Made In USA "
its time to put America back to work!

You get griots lifetime warranty, I'd rather spend a little more to get the warranty.

Rupes and flex only gives you a 1 year warranty

no question, you buy Griots over the PC and Megs machine because of the warranty. and that's great to have. have never had to use it, but I assume it would be honored in exactly the way it is described, basically no questions asked. I just cant imagine what they could do with a polisher that hasn't already been done several times. the market is flooded. but at the same time, with all the fancy Rupes and Flex machines coming out all the time, if you're Griots, you simply have no choice but to try to compete. you cant simply sit there and hope people keep buying the GG6, because the market for that machine is dwindling.

Regarding the Griot's lifetime warranty. I bought their Gen II as soon as it came out back in 2010 or 2011 I believe. I finally wore it out a few months ago and it was starting to putter. I took it to their Indy location to see if they'd honor and they did so w/o any questions. Fortunately for me, my new machine is their Gen. III which I absolutely love.

It's that kind of service, not to mention quality of products, that'll keep me buying from them.

It could be a whole new brand / line similar to Pinnacle Black Label so let's call it Griot's Black Top with the latest in coating, washes, detailers, etc.

I do wonder if there is going to be a closer relationship between PBMG and Griot's given all the sudden influx of Griot's involvement here and at AGO.

I wondered that myself.......

Yes it is boss. They posted it without the cover on FB last night. I think it might stand for best of show series. Or something like that

This was posted on the Griot's facebook page...so I am still thinking a line called "best of show shine" or something like that.

Tomorrow is the day! Come by tomorrow to celebrate our 25th anniversary with us, see 25 past cover cars and watch Richard unveil a new product line!
