Does anyone here have the Zymol $1500.00 wax has a lifetime refill as it should for the price.I wonder how good it is I bet thats what Chuck Norris uses on his car...$1500 wax should be the best of there?

Like I said in the other thread... it is only $1500 dollars because it is high grade carnauba wax and you get lifetime refills on it. You would have to use an awful lot of wax to make it worth purchasing.

Price has nothing to do with what is best. Example: You want to pack up the tent and head for the mountains for some camping. Which would be a better vehicle to use? A Ferrari or a Jeep? "best" is so subjective that it rarely means the same thing to everybody. Zymol Vintage is good, but I wouldn't say it is the best. I've also got a dozen other high quality waxes in my garage to compare it to, so my opinion is based on that. If all I had to compare it to was Rain Dance then maybe Vintage is better...

You charge more to detail cars, being that you would be 1 of 1000 people in the world who probably have it,big advantage for people who want the best money can buy put on their car attitude.

That's the thing though... It's not the best money can buy. What part of when I said "price has nothing to do with what is best" did you miss? Let me tell you how not the best it is. When I want to wax my car there are three other waxes I have that don't cost $1500 that I would use before I used Vintage. You could buy all three of those waxes with less than a hundred bucks. It isn't a selling point to any of my customers. They trust me to use what is going to look best on their car. You know how many times I've used Zymol Vintage in that case? 0 Unless someone specifically requests a Zymol wax just so they can put it on an entry form at a car show, then Vintage pretty much stays on the shelf.

If you want to try some of there waxes just go to there site and buy the sample pack which will get I beleive 3 of there 4 top waxes. I did this many years ago and keep there wax in the frig. and it is just like new. Of course I only paid $99.00 but I'm sure it's more now.

I know Iam a little late on this thread but the Vintage is for older style paint jobs that you would find on really high end vintage show cars and its not meant for modern paints. They have better waxes for modern paints and a lot cheaper. Also if you can afford a 5-6 million dollars on restoring a car you can afford another $1500.00.When I was at the Pebble Beach Concours a few years back alot of the detailers where using it.
