Zymol HD Cleanse Professional 16oz.

IMO zymol is great. I use it on high end cars when the the best I have and don't mind paying the extra. Carbon is great on any color, not just dark. The car soap is one of the best I've ever used. I have a jar of Titanium I'm going to try on my wife's car when it's due again. For every day use I use PB.

I also love Carbon. I find it looks awsome on Grey, it has a way of making the paint deep instead of shiney, which is what i look for in a wax. Which car soap, clear?

sorry for all these questions, but its hard to find people who have used zymol and can give an honset opion on somthing other then the price

Heh nope I just looked at thier site, they peferred products of choice are Armolr All and Black Magic not bad but meh, nope looks like a no go to me.

I use the green with a MF. I would keep away from the OTC stuff.

I agree, the cleaner wax is ok but it dosent meet the standard of zymol.
I have yet to try any other zymol products since business is slow and tution is high lol.
I hope in the future you will review a zymol product for us so we can here what you think

Well i talked to him tonight, and unfotutly he is down to his lst couple of 16 oz bottles of the hd cleanse pro, he and is getting back into the detailing game. So no luck

sorry to get your hopes up

If you get a angle on how to get some of the hd cleanse, then I'd be interested in it.

As funny as this may sound coming from me, I do not think that hd cleanse will make a significant difference from another very good polish team. The main objective is to get the paint surface swirl free and clear of any lsps. I have used hd cleanse as well as a few other polishes with Zymol over the years. HD Cleanse was good, but the real key into getting the Zymol result is making sure that the surface is clean and making the zymol wax produce its shine all by itself. I have had great results every time using Zymol waxes with proven polishes, and not necessarily with just HD Cleanse.

after diging up an old bottle of lite cleanse i have become a cleanse fanatic. I think it really adds somthing to the paint, vw makes the paint look a mile deep. its hard to explain until ou try it..

It is for this reason i have ordered 4 or 5 diffrent cleanses, inclduing p21s as well as hd cleanse. i havent used it yet so i will have to do a review on that, probley the same time as concours but we will see

Are you using a cutting polish or a finishing polish with any of those? Or are you aiming for a chemical polishing process?? Curious, because if you are lucky you could find a paintwork cleaner that will even have a hint of cutting action.

I want to cutting action whateso ever. These are simply paint cleansers used to enhance the deapth and calrity of the paint. I dont know if you have ever used vw lite cleasne, it leaves the pait not only feeeling smoth but it leaves a deapth and clarity that si sundiscrable, it really changed the look of the paint for good.

Im not sure how im going to do my test yet, if im going to tape of a hood in sections, or just do it on the whole car, and try another lotion on another car.
I will clay and have a perfect work enviorment. I want to see how the clansing lotion does for the look of my paint, and this eams like a good method to do that

You live dangerously don't you?? I'll say ok to just the chemo process only if you promise to have no swirling whatsoever. I gave up the aggressive polishes though, but I still require DEEP cleaning before starting any wax program (wax is a lot harder to dissolve and clean than a lot of us think!) Add to it, those micro sized particles that no one sees can prove to be quite a nuisance later on, but that's what your claying is for.

I had excellent results this year with my combo of HD Cleanse, a finishing polish and a paintwork cleanser by Sonus.

im a real crazy guy. I ive on the edge.. what can i say

I will have no swirls, i still need to find the perrfect car. Im thinking of using my moms car or my dads since they are both black. I will only use on on each section to see how they work by themselves.
I clay my cars often, however i still think there is more that can be done.
For those who have never tried a cleansing lotion i would say go try victoria wax lite cleanse, it will leave your paint looking better then just claying alone. I know some people dont buy the cleansing lotion thing but trust me it is well worth it

That is correct..........

Black can be a double edged sword. Done right, black can have the reflective depth that is not equalled by anything other than the Pacific or Atlantic ocean. Black can also reveal EVERY sin that you committed to your paint and body (from swirling, poor prep, bad bodywork, mediocre bodywork, even acceptable bodywork).

But black is also a very forgiving color and texture when it comes to correcting issues, and even tolerating moderate abuse.

Now I can't wait till I see Concours on both the black and red!!! Hurry!!
