now your just teasing.. its not fair lol

there was a two week back order on the concours and was supposted to be at the supplier today, they said they would send and e-mail when they ahd more info. Im way to impatient for this, but i guees it will evently come, right after my dads car is in storgae for winter lol. Im also still looking at the vintage, i guees not would be a good itm eot send an e-mail asking all my questiins(sry just a reminder to myself)

Oops, my bad. Should've known how waiting for something can be painful sometimes. Ask all the questions you like, but do post pics when you eventually get to Concours. I am especially interested in your long range reflective shots.

Well i thought I would give a qucik update. Im in love with Zymol Carbon after trying it on the jag and my moms black RX330, both turned out awsome, sorry guys no pics of the rx. I am still waiting on the concours as its on BO. Im tempted to try some of the other products as well as other waxes. I know the canadian supplier still has a few jars of the old ital lying around. It seams to have the same explantion and same level of carnuba so i might try it at 99 bucks instead of over 400.

I was wondering however aobut putting the wax in the fridge/freezer after opening. I know I didnt with the carbon even though it said to. Should I put it in? Wil it effect the wax if not. And with the estate glazes shoud i agian do it or is it one of those things thats suggested but not really needed?

Well thanks for the help, i will make sure to post a full review when i finnaly get my wax

I WANT MY WAX lol.

thanks for the review, i have not used carbon, japon, volvo or creme in over 10 years. After finding this detailing website several years ago, I thought Zymol was overrated. I lost even more respect when they came out with the cheap turtle wax made Zymol. I am so tempted now to buy a jar to try it again.

hosesty I think its over priced, however if its the product I like the most them Im willing to spend the money. I would say give the hand crafted lione a shot again, worst comes to worst you waste 60-70 bucks and give it away. Also if you do make sure to give us reviews we do love them

While I would never contradict Zymol, I myself have not had any adverse effects by not refrigerating my EG's. I felt that, contrary to what Zymol and a lot of other people say about refrigerating it, the waxes yielded better workability when left at room temperature. I'll just put some on my fingers, and go to town!!!

Damn...hurry concours!!! I want to know what you think of it!!

Great reviews though about carbon, as I trust opinions of calgarydetail and lbls1.[/QUOTE]

Hey thanks. Missed this shout out. Nice to hear from an optimistic wax enthusiast!

Got some too. However, havenot tried it yet as Zymol ital, concours, destiny, and atlantique are all being used :o . Great reviews though about carbon, as I trust opinions of calgarydetail and lbls1.

Hey thanks! I missed this post. Its nice to hear from an optimistic wax enthusiast for a change lol!!

my appologies, i also missed the post. So thank you and sorry, Its always hard to follow every post so sorry. I have to admit I am jelous that you had a chance to order the peable beach sampler, I wish they would bring it back even at a higher price. I was wondering what you think of the other zymol waxes, (i dont expect nor want a full review as we all live busy lives just some qucik thoughts on them please) if not to much trouble. Thank you

And its nice to see another fan of zymol out there, although i have only tried one wax, it was a lower one and I was still blown away, I did a wax coubt today and I have 14, 15 on the way and the zymol is ranked number one(yes over vw, sorry david but its what works for me, and no im not abbandoing victoria wax, i still love it and ithas its place.)

Heres my ran for the nightt: I hate when i post on forums that i am intrested in zymol and would like to know what people who have tried it thought. (not that it will make me buy it or not buy it howver it will influance my descion) I also state that this is not a place to argue the price its soley based on performance. I always seem to get a dozen posts saying its to expensive and over priced. I then pry and ask how it performs and I get the ohh we havent tried it, just think its a watse of money. Well ****, everythig is a waste of money if you ask the right person. I bought a new car and my freinds dad told me i wasted my momeny on a car that wasnt at leat 5 years old. So its a relative thing. Im not the kind of prson who will bash somthing unless ihave tried it. :nixweiss I like to have an educated opion on somthign before I go and naysay it. Hense why I try many many many products, which I love. It just bugs me that because of the cost peeople dont give it a chance yet feel a NEED to trash it.

Well thnkx for listening. i needed to get that off my chest, sorry fro wating your time if you read it.

I am looking forward to my concours as well as others thoughts on Zymol.

Yeah, honestly, the price that zymol has placed their waxes won't change so theres no point in squabble. :argue

I've had a chance to use my jar of Zymol Carbon today on my friends 01 Accord coupe and wow! I think it looks fantastic! This was my first time using a Zymol product at all. I was at my local tuner shop and they had a jar of Carbon for $38! I could not resist! Wax was VERY easy to apply. It came on like butter. I did use the HD-Cleanse before it and that like the Carbon wax needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY! I accidentally let some areas dry and they would not come out without some sort of lubrication. I am happy with purchase and will purchase more Zymol products in the future.

Question about a post above: So you believe that the perfomance of the Carbon does not change wether or not its refrigerated contrary to what the label says? I'm weary of keeping it in my fridge as I do have children in the hox and blue stuff in a jar...mmh.

LOL!!! lbls1 and calgarydetail no problem guys.

I have still alot to experiment with pertaining to the zymol EGlazes (I went crazy and started getting all these waxes within a 2 week span - and quite a bit from fellow autopians :chuckle: ). So far it was worth it and more.

calgarydetail, get the Ital, even though the formula changed, imo it was not dramatic as a buddy of mine tried them both and could not tell the difference - so I too picked up some old version Ital (at sale $33 :hifive: ).

Hurry up get that concours!!!

I do have a question: Have any of you applied them in the winter? how was the durability? I am thinking that it would last longer due to lower humidity.

I have yet to apply it in the winter but the winter is coming fast here in calgary. I will make sure to post any info as soon as I know

As to the Ital, were di you get it for 33 bucks lol, Iwill order the Ital today, at 99 bucks I cant go wrong, lol but i geues i will need more hd cleanse.

Thnkx for the info i look forward to trying the ital as well

Mike,

I got it from one of the M3 forum sponsors (cannot remember the site as they sold out their supply during a clearance sale). However, check out autowerks.com (hopefully it is ok to post the site. If not, please modorators remove) as they have it for $59 usd. Presuming you are using Can$ when you said $99.

thank you the info, im gogin to call them today and see if tis still the same price. Ihad a proplem a while back were i ordered it and they said they had changed the price to almost 400 us, and they wanted to charge me the 400. I was like f-no lol.

On a side note what other zymol products would you recomened? im ordering from www.zdocn.com so they have most products but not a few liek clay (although i have foud clay for 20bucks us and u get 400 grams -14oz) (and im not sure i can let the cat outa the back)

well i just called auto werks and its now 69 bucks. He called zymol direclty so im not sure how its so cheap but hey im thinking it might be the way to go. Ill have do the whole customers calculation but will see. Thnkx for the linke

You will have to get use to the (my new made up word.....Naysayism...chuckle). You are gonna get hit with the flood of junk, and rip-off, and not worth it claims, which comes primarily from people that haven't used Zymol. The results speaks for itself. It is an expensive vice, however, so a little moderation and budgeting skills will help.

BTW: Am I hearing you right about Ital? It used to be $99 USD, but they flipped the formulation. It was once 90% #1 yellow and 10% #1 White Brazilian Carnauba, but now its 90% White and 10% yellow, and at or near $360 bucks!!!!! Ouch!!

Edit: Ashsarna, it may prove to be difficult applying it in the winter, unless you are fortunate enough to have a heated garage. That is why I take care to get enough accumulations during my wax season (April to Nov) to ride thru the winter when car #1 hibernates. The coldest I've applied an EGZymol was I believe around 55 degrees, which reminds me, that I have to get one more coat on before November, when my wax season ends!

Edit #2....Have any pics???? I can't get enough of this stuff yaknow!

LOL that won't do! 55F is like a good day in Calgary. I dont think we will see anymore of those days for a long time :(

dont jinx us. were having good weathe thus far and I dont want it to turn bad lol.

back to the thread, i havent ordered the ital yet becasue Im waiting on an e-mail from autowekrs about some of there products. Alos when i called he said the concours was only 69 bucks (its listed as 59) but im not sure he is right, might be an option for some of you who are looking at ordering it

Thanks again for the post. I've had a jar of Carbon that I've used on and off for about 6 years. I picked it up on clearance for about $35 and it's worked well for me. I've been using Klasse but I'm going to try it as a topper this weekend. I'll post up some pics when I'm finished.

Well i thought I would give another quick update. I did not end up ordering the Ital. I have a few other things I would like to buy first fro other detailing purposes ( I currently have 14 diffrent types of wax and Concours is 15 so I though I should use some up first)

The concours still hasnt come. I have not heard anything from zdocn in about a week so i sent off an e-mail today asking if there was any news, as well if there is any wy to get a peable beach sampler (im not counting on it but i have to ask) so theres the update. Im still impatient becasue Iwant my wax but will see whathappens.
