hey everyone does anyone have a really good method of how to use zaino zpc with a porter cable or rotary. Its a new product to me and i was just wondering what pad and what speed and things like that to use. cus if i use a polishing pad it dosnt seem to quite do the trick. or if i use it with a polishing pad i dont seem to get rid of the swrils. am i using it at the right speed? any help or suggestions would be awesome Thanks

So by polishing pad, I take you mean a white LC pad? Are you using it by rotary or PC. What car are you using it on?

I start out with a spritz of Z6 on the pad and apply 3-4 small pea sized drops to the pad. Spread w/ the machine off.

With a PC I then start at 4-4.5 and then move to 6 to finish.

With a rotary I start at 800 or so, then go to 1500. I use ZPC as a finishing polish with the rotary and white CCS pad as I cut with wool.

my polishing pads are a white wolfgang polishing pad or a meguiars soft buff polishing pad. i am using it on a black Trans Am. Either or PC or rotary. Thanks for the tip about the speed. I was just going at about speed 3 and 4 on the pc.

No matter what polish I use, that is when I use a PC, I don't polish lower then 6.

Is the megs pad the yellow pad?

yeah. it is the yellow pad. Thanks for the advise. I have always seen the work you do on here and you are a awesome detailer. Im still kinda somewhat of a newbee at some of this stuff. one other thing. when i rev it up to speed six how fast or slow should i go with my movement and for how long should i do this for?

Thanks for your kind words!

For areas that require more correction go 1" per second. Work it till it goes clear or you start to see some dusting. Also apply some downward pressure to the head of the PC.

Most GM clears are on the hard side, so don't be suprised if you have to get the rotary out.
