I'm really not concerned about souveran lasting as long as zaino. When the weather is nice i usually find time for about 6 layers of zaino per month. It wouldnt bother me at all to wax 2-3 times a month.

I understand about the souveran. It is easy toapply and wonderful to take off. The look is as good as it gets. Have fun and post pictures of the stuff you do.

If you top Your Zaino with Souveran just wash the vehicle with a non-wax/silicone/telfon shampoo and QD with Z6. You are ready to apply more Z.

If you want a carnuaba-like appearance, try Z8 after a wash or Zaino sealant application. Also Pinnacle Souveran Crystal Mist will mimic an application of Souveran paste and give you that carnuaba look for about a week.

Helpful hint: When I polish a black vehicle I cover the areas that are not being polished with soft cotton sheets. This reduces the clean-up and helps keep dust out of nocks and crannies. When vehicle is completed I just Cali dust the vehicle and QD to inspect my work.

thanks for the help, but i do have a question. What kind of soap is non-wax/silicone/teflon?

I use Z7, only because it compliments the Zaino system but also cleans very well. It will remove most wax/silicone containing products (Qd's and waxes) sufficiently enough to allow re-application of Zaino sealants that will bond perfectly well.

Sorry I can not recommend any OTC shampoos. I having been using Z7 for the last 4 years and I am not up-to-date on what is available in local stores. Maybe someone and chime in a make some suggestions?

I think I remember Sal suggesting adding some water to the mix for more aggressive cutting with ZPC. I'm not exactly sure how this would work. Maybe you could use a spray bottle and mist the panel you're going to be working on, or maybe even a little more than a slight mist. Supposedly this is supposed to enable more aggressive cutting.
