so has anyone else seen the commercial for a zorbee? it looks pretty cool to me haha, but i was just wondering if anyone else has tried it, or even heard of it.

in case you haven't its pretty much a super absorbent towel, looks ideal for drying a car, which is one of the many things they advertise it does. the website is zorbeez.com if you want to check it.

thoughts?

It does look good at blotting dry. I wouldn'tadvise rubbing it on the paint. What the heck, give it a shot. On your dime, that is. ;)

Well, I have tried KaBoom and Oxi wash around the house and they worked quite well. And if Billy says it's good..............

Site looks nice and so does vids but is it MF or not. If not, it might not be nice for paint

Sorry I'm an aussie. Who the hell is billy mays?

Would be a good test. See how many ounces of water it can pick up and then test a waffle weave

The winner of course is the one with the highest number

Of course it is an as seen on tv product and I hate those and refuse to buy anything from them

Ha! I just saw this commercial for the first time and looks like a great product, but is this some kind of Super Microfiber? It is cheap (5 towels and a brush for $15) and I want to give it a try, but if it isn't MF then it might scratch the paint :down.

So had anyone tried Zorbeez on their vehicle?

The Zorbeez looks a lot like the Super Chamois (synthetic) that I've seen hyped at some car shows...... even the demo looks the same. After splitting a "show special" with a friend a few years ago I can honestly say it is my least favorite thing to dry a car with.

It isn't a MF material nor is it like the Absorber, the best way I can describe it is like a thick piece of felt. They advise to wash it first for best results and it didn't hold up well in the washer either...... I'd say save your $$$ and buy some quality MF's.
