 No, not at all....
When I first tried Zaino back in 2003, microfiber had not become as common place as it is now. The terry cloths I was using were of suspect quality and left swirls all over my car. :bawling: The car was brand new and I was concerned that I would never get the paint back to looking as it should. I had purchased one one of the first 350z's to come off the line and I really wanted it to look top-notch. It took a lot of work to get all the swirls back out and after that ordeal (hours spents with 3M SMR and a PC), I never gave Zaino another thought.
As I mentioned, I had been deteailing cars for a while. The terry cloths had been purchased new for this car and I had never used them before. I now use them for cleaning my wheels.:angry
I have since traded the 350z in (first child needed a back seat) and now drive the ES300 you saw in the photograph. Now that I own enough microfiber to cover the state of Rhode Island, I thought I might give Zaino another shot. Now....in all honesty, I'm not completely sold on the CS product yet (again, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong). I can't seem to apply a small enough amount of the product to get it to do what it is supposed to do.....without having to come back and wipe it down with Z8.....
But the AIO....top notch. I applied it with an cordless, Ryobi orbital buffer and a microfiber bonnet. Finished applying it, let it dry for a while and wiped it off. Easy.
Now, if it won't offend anyone's delicate sensibilities, I will also note that I did a test on one panel. After I had let the vehicle sit for a bit, I applied Silver Ice Liquid Polish to half the trunk (I was curious to see how it differed from CS). The result was a reflection that was a little less "dark" than the panel with just AIO, but the relfection was a little clearer, and the paint was slicker, so slick that my microfiber cloth slid right off the trunk. (See?...I'll try anything :dance )
