Zaino'ing tips???

Any potential swirls from the drive home and subsequent wipe down will be removed by the ZPC anyway. I'd wash it, drive home, wipe with Z6, clay, then ZPC. All the extra steps aren't necessary.

Yeah, I agree. Drive home, wipe down with a good quick detailer like Z-6.

It's all good :)

After a wash/clay, try the Z AIO first to see if you really need to correct heavier marring.

ZAIO is like using P21S Paintwork Cleanser only with Zaino sealant added to it. Nice and mild enough for simple cleanup.

Follow with a Z-CS application and you're good for a long time.

Whichever way, wait for the sealant(s) to cure before you wipe down with Z8 for a stunning shine and depth.

I'm still playng with different ways to obtain that multi-Zaino look with very little effort for other Porsche owners who are just "wax on, wax off kind of guys and don't want to spend countless time to do a full Zaino sealant treatment.

So far it looks like ZAIO/ZCS theme for now with Z6 and Z8 after cure time. Porsche paint being so damn soft it doesn't take much to correct it, and if it's really light, ZAIO may do it, if not, ZPC. If this still doesn't clear the defects, then it's off to a qualified deatiler for those owners.

Just with anything new you try. Manage your time accordingly. Too many new users have to rush at the end as they run out out of time starting something new or rush to beat the weather. Take your time, get comfortable with Zaino to get the best effect and you'll end up cutting the time as you hone your application skils with Zaino or any product.

Keep us posted!

Thanks! You guys lifted my spirits back up. I didn't want to spend 200$ to have someone detail it for me, when I can get all I need to do it! for roughly that much. And I go back to school (Texas Tech University) on monday so that weekend I should have some pics up!

Thanks again

Logan

ZPC if you need a finish polish for light marring/swirls. ZAIO if you want to clean the paint and lay down a nice base for z2/z5/CS/z8. I use both.

ZAIO is great on wheels among a number of other things. ZAIO might be more useful if you have to choose and dont have anyother AIO's.

ZPC-white/gray LC

ZAIO-white/gray/blue LC

thanks what pads for Z2 Z5 etc etc etc

I do z2/z5/CS by hand with the LC CCS round red foam apps from AG. 6/12.99

Zaino now sells a foam app that looks nice, although, I have no experience with it.

I also think Z-2 and Z-5 are best applied by hand (save product), but for Z-AIO it would be better using a machine such as the PC with a white pad.

Agreed, using a PC with Z-AIO will really do a great job in cleaning the paint for whichever Zaino sealant you go with. The easiest being Z-CS after Z-AIO since you just apply and walk away. Or you could go the whole Z5/Z2/ZFX route was well. Just remember it takes more time and just like all Zaino sealants, THIN application. So thin it's hard to see where you applied it.

I'm sure once your done it will look stunning, and the great thing is it will for a long time with proper up-keep (wash and Z6) every now and then.
