Zaino'd my Integra for Winter (new Canon A610 pics)

I noticed that you did not use z2, any particular reason y u didnt follow up z5 with z2?

How did you apply the z5, was it by hand or w/ pc?
 
i think Sean with you using Zaino and you posting about it in the product discussion as one of your faves, is going to cause a huge upsurge in its use on this board.. good for Sal :D



who knows , it could become the next WG hype.. we all remember the WG hype.. heh heh
 
rotary: Duct tape on the inside of the hatch. Use touch-up paint x 3 to make it look uniform. I did it for 6 months last year without 1 leak. I tried the plug route but they get caught up with removing snow. Also, the paint didn't adhere well.



Neothin: Yep, that's how the drop goes, plus, I have a little bit of weight in the snow. At first I didn't like it, but now I just say "my drop is modeled after Dado's" :D.



1 Clean: Thanks, Mike. I am thrilled about the garage :).



Scott: 6 layers of Z last year got me an easy 5-6 months through winter, kept outside. I stripped it down due to some marring, plus, prep for a car show.



vdog: I keep going back to the Subaru Legacy GT. For the buck and what I'm looking to do with it, its a hard car to beat.



roadmaster: I will probably top the last 3 layers using Z2 Pro. I like the depth of Z5. I applied by hand and a MF applicator.



tumbler: Who knows? I'm not hyping up though...I just have had good experiences with it.



dino: It slipped my mind to retake them. When I clean her up again sometime this week, I will reshoot.

well you've got me back on a zaino kick .. can i ask you your suggestion of this..



this weekend barring weather I was going to cuz of bad swirling..



Optimum Hyper yellow pad > Optimum Polish - orange pad then go right to Z2 pro > z8..



OP polish instead of z-pc or AIO before the z2 pro

Sean, yor car looks amazing as always. It even looks good without the wing!



Question: Is it worth me getting some Z5 for darker color cars? Do you notice a big difference between the Z2 and Z5 ? When I placed my Zaino order I just got some Z2 pro and the ZFX to try it. I am really getting to like it and wil be making another order soon, but not sure what else to get. Ant thoughts would be appreciated.

tumbler: The Optimum regimen is fine. You will need to do a quick IPA or Z6 wipedown prior to Zaino application, thats all.



Rick: There probably isn't a huge difference between Z5 and Z2 Pro. I have liked Z5 for a while because it was a lot deeper than the original Z2. Since the "Pro" status, I've noticed very similar looks. You would have to put them next to each other to tell the difference. I would definately pick up Z8 if you don't have it though.
 
thanks.. i was going to skip the IPA completely and go with z-pc blue pad on pc, or AIO with pc on a green pad

Obviously, its a bit bruised underneath the spoiler, but it will be repainted after winter.
 
Haha, you have a Zaino and Poorboys sticker. Thats a true Autopian! Only a small percentage would know what the Zaino is and a even smaller would know what the poorboys guy is. Hey, does that add any HP? LOL
