ZainoAIO or Klasse AIO

Hello All,

On my 2000 Steel Grey BMW M Coupe, I have some small swirls marks and general light imperfections. I was wondering if you recommend Klasse AIO or Zaino AIO to remove these marks with the porter cable and a light cutting pad. I would like to then use Zaino Z2 and Z5 to seal afterwards. Any advice on the Klasse and Zaino would be greatly appreciated. Also, might there be any better products you recommend from either Menzerna or Einszett?

all the best,

Jeffrey

Honestly, I would recommend Menzerna FPII or IP depending on your swirls. If you got the $ you can buy 106ff or SIP. And then seal with Zaino.

I don't like to use AIO's for swirl removal. I usually use them to clean the paint.

AIO's are gret for cleaning but not much good for swirl removal

some people will say they do but there are much better choices

any good swirl remover is a better choice than an AIO. ZPC is a good choice because it leaves a nice clean surface without oils.

Thanks guys. On the Menzerna products, which is the less agressive, 106 or SIP? ALso, is Zaino ZPC worth a try or not? It sounds as though Menzerna is the way to correct this, then seal with Zaino.

thanks,

Jeff

I would say you should clay, then menzerna 106ff or optimum polish on a lake country white pad. Then protect with your sealant of coice(try jeffs werkstatt).

106 is less aggressive, but SIP is a good one to have as well, especially if your clear coat is hard. If you want to be true to the Zaino process, Z-PC is the way to go (although I have limited experience with its correction abilities). I personally correct with Menzerna and top with Zaino and no complaints (I'm not a brand loyalist). From my research, many people use those two brands in combination for correcting / sealing.

For an AIO, if you're going with Zaino as your LSP, use ZAIO if you really want a dedicated cleaner. I think many people just go straight from Menzerna to Z-2 / 5 without ZAIO in between. I've used KAIO before (without Zaino) and I thought it was great, although it's frequently used with SG. Some use KAIO as a base for Zaino as well.

You may want to consider orange or yellow LC pads for a polish.

Keep in mind that Menzerna isn't the only highly-rated polish brand. I don't have any experiences with the likes of Optimum and some others, but there's lot of good reviews on them here. Just stay away from stuff that says Turtle Wax.
