Zaino Z9 & Z10 or Lexol Leather Kit

Looking to add some leather cleaning and protecting products into my detail line up and stuck between the two. I was going to get Leatherique but can not justify spending that much when I only have 1 car with leather seats. Any opinions on which setup I should go for? Thanks!
 
Most auto leather is clearcoated. I'd stick with a water based product like Zaino for newer leather instead of a more oily product like Lexol.
 
I didnt know that new leather was 'clear coated' now. I just finished my Zaino and bought Lexol since it was available local and much cheaper.



Should I just use the Lexol cleaner and not the conditioner??
 
Been using Zaino cleaner and "Leather in a Bottle" on my 91 Reatta Convertible for years and it still looks (and smells) like new. And just did my 2002 LS430's leather with the same and it looks like new also (in spite of the grand-kids). Tried Lexol in the past and it didn't seem to do as well.

X2 ^ ... Same with my 2000 Trans Am. No one can believe how good that leather looks and it's almost 10 years old! Still has "new car smell" too!
 
In general I've heard Lexol is good at restoraction more than cleaning, and vice versa for Zaino...

and if you need restoratoin, Leatherique CANNOT be beaten...
 
I think that the important part of the Lexol system is to make sure you get a good lather of foam with the cleaner. Wipe that all off then apply the conditioner.
 
I beat Leatherique every day (or at least every day when my Astro doesn't break a ball joint while driving:)). Keeping the leather clean is the single most important thing you can do to the leather. Conditioning contributes more to peace of mind than actual performance.
 
I have been using Leatherique and Zaino for years. They are both the best at what they do.



I use Leatherique twice a year and Zaino every month.





I ven use Zaino in my house on my couch, smells great.

:xyxthumbs Thanks man! Are there any specific ways that I should be applying the lexol conditioner to my seats? I just simply spread it across the seats (thicker coats) so its lightly saturated in the conditioner and leave it be for a few hours so it gets in there. Is this the wrong way ?
