Zaino Z5 question

Have an '06 Nighthawk Black Pearl Civic LX...



Pretty new to the world of detailing, and had a quick question...



My plan is to wash/clay bar, followed by 3M 39009 to remove swirl marks, and then possibly (haven't decided yet) Zaino Z5 for polish.



I've read some posts that seem to imply that waxing isn't necessary after applying Z5. Is this true, or have I completely misunderstood something?

Z5 is a pure sealant, with no cleaning or swirl removal abilities. Z5 will last longer and protect longer than a traditional wax, therefore there is no need for "waxing" after applying the Z polish. It's simply a misnomer that has many confused. Z calls its products "polishes" when in fact they are pure sealants.

wait for the new Z5pro to be released. It should offer faster dry time than the older Z5. It supposedly looks better too.
