In a word...fantastic!!! This claybar worked wonders for my daily driver today. I tried out this claybar to see whether it would clear up the microsized particles that had collected on my black painted surface (which bugged the heck out of me last year). Last year I went through the big clean with the buffer and polishes, and after about a month after that detail, I had accumulated little white particles that at that time appeared to have been an overspray. I went through another buffing detail at that time, but it was an annoying thing to do over, and those little micron-sized particles were a bear to remove (in fact the buffer did not pick up all of those particles, so I decided to live with them until the time came for the next big clean).



This claybar made short work of those particles. I took soapy water in an atomizer spray bottle, and using the clay in a back and forth motion, went to work on the panels. Each panel was left as smooth as new glass!!! I actually enjoyed this process. Tomorrow, I'll do the big clean and then post the results. Stay tuned.

Is this your first time using a clay bar? Just curious, because I'm 98% sure any other fine grade clay would have performed the same way.
 
This was the first time using it on this car. I was very impressed with it. I had heard good things about this brand's bar, so I decided to try it. I was tempted to go with a local brand, but decided to give this one a try.



I had shyed away from clays in the past because my other car's painted surface (I felt at that time) didn't need a claybar, and random stories I've heard from others that claimed that some brands didn't really help with their situation, and/or with some clays being too grippy. This clay was very compliant, and it guided itself on the panels with ease.
 
Yeah, as I mentioned in another thread this is the same Erazer fine-grade stuff sold by Chemical Guys, Poorboy's, Optimum, and other companies...but you can get it for a few bucks less at other places. Good clay nonetheless!
 
What my new plan to do starting this year, is to clay the daily driver two times a year. The clay really removes the stuck on issues, and it does remove some lsp (not all of it however). It is a very good step to handle typical issues that a daily, uncovered car goes through.
 
I used it today as well on the ES and Camry. It was terrific. What I like is that its very effective but can be easily "shaped" for a clean surface for the next panel. As expected, terrific with Z-6.
