Zaino VS. Blackfire

Intercooled

I've been using ziano now for 2 years.I love the slickness and gloss. I've been reading here about blackfire and recently bought thier tire gel. Nice semi gloss shine but it does sling a bit. What are your experiences with blackfire on a black car. Zaino or blackfire?

also how is the blackfire QD?

Thanks for some input!

Blackfire can be very hard to completely remove, especially on dark cars. I used BF polish and BF paint protectant on my maroon truck earlier this summer. Even after wiping and QDing, there was still some streaking. This came off with the next wash, though. I've used Zaino before, and Blackfire is probably a little darker/deeper in appearance, but not as reflective.

I never can make up my mind about which sealant to use. After Zaino updated Z2 and Z5 last month, I just had to get some and try it out! I received my order yesterday, and will be testing it on my hood this weekend. Right now I have 2 coats of BF, and 2 coats of Platinum UPP on the truck. I plan to clay the whole hood, tape half of it off, strip half and redo with new Z5, then add another coat of UPP to the other side, and compare. Over the course of a few days, I'll put a couple of coats of Z5 on, then a coat of two of Z2 and post the results.

Here is an old Zaino BF comparison. Please note that these are both the OLD formulations!

Blackfire vs. Zaino

In my experience Zaino is more reflective, slicker, and more durable than Blackfire. While its been awhile since I used Blackfire, and I know its been reformulated, I think the new versions of Zaino maintain the above differences.
