I use Z-2 Pro over Z-5 Pro. Here it is on dark red, from two summers ago. There were a few other light scratches that I had to remove with some Zaino Z-PC, my PC and a polishing pad, but overall, after a year owning this car, I didn't have too many swirls to worry about. I gave my Montego two layers of Zaino Z-5 Pro and a layer of Zaino Z-2 Pro. Finished with a wipe down of the whole car with Z-8. All the grained exterior plastic, including the rocker panel molding and the cowl, were treated with Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss, as were the tires, and the wheels were detailed with Z-8, sprayed on a microfiber pad, and then applied to the wheels.Never Enuff said:Is it my understanding that some of you are using Z-5 in lieu of Z-2 Pro or are you using both. Is Z-5 better on dark colors? I have a dark Blue truck and often find after coats of Z-2 Pro that I have small surface scratches. Years ago I used to use a product called "Fill & Glaze"(a pink liquid) to fill the scratches. All my polishing is done by hand. I am really satisfied with the results using the Z-2but if the Z-5 is better and doesn't leave the scratches I'd be a lot happier.
Thanks in advance for your help and insight-
