Zaino - Touch Up and Clean UP

I have basically always resisted the Zaino System due to the fact that it seems that you are best sticking to only Zaino Products for wash, QD etc.

I now have reason to require the extended durability of Zaino and the obvious and admitted appearance advantages. I have offered to do a new vehicle for a friend who is not as fastidious (obsessed) as most Autopians. The vehicle is Black and I believe Zaino offers the best bang.

My question is what do you do for quick touch ups if you are on a trip. On my own vehicle I always have a all-in-one product and detailer at hand should I get oil, tar, bugs or any other road related problem so that I can do a quick clean-up. I intend on doing this vehicle and not sending away the balance of product with the owner. Do you other Zaino users simply wait till your next clean-up to remove this type of material or do you use some other manufacturer's all in one for emergencies. I guess the new Zaio would fill the bill?? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

ZAIO to the rescue after a wash and removal of things like tar, bugs, etc when on a road trip.
Wouldn't ZAIO, as a paint cleaner, remove Z2/5 or Z-CS? I realize it leaves some protection behind, but not as much as an application of Z2/5 or Z-CS, correct? I would think Z-6 might be a better option, perhaps followed by some Z-8 if one wants to stay in the Z line of products.

If someone used a QD such as Quik Shine, and later wanted to add more Z wouldn't a Z-7 wash or a Z-6 QD prep the finish for another application of Z2/5?

ZAIO is a very good protectant for that short term repair needed on a road trip. Yes, ZAIO will remove any protectant that was in place, including CS or Z2/5. Not a problem. When one returns home one can either CS, Z2 or Z5 over the repaired area or entire vehicle after another wash.

Obviously, one would try the means of least resistance to remove offending blemishes. Unfortunately, after long road trips bugs and tar can be quite resistant to just a QD session, which in itself , if successful, can create it own micro-marring. ZAIO would not only clean the blemish, it will polish and protect ( not on the same level as CS or Z sealants but several weeks to a couple of months is not usual) at the same time blending in with surrounding area in terms of gloss, sleekness and shine.

Z6 and some microfiber towels will get you by. I don't know many guys that want to do any paint correction on road trips........:D

(you can QD with Z6 a couple of times a day and do any repairs when you return home from your trip if necessary.......:xyxthumbs )

Thanks for your answers. I guess I could even consider doing everything above the door mouldings with Zaino and the lower 2 feet with Klasse or Duragloss IW and sending along a supply of Klasse AIO for any clean-up. I unfortunately know the vehicle will not be cared for in the same way most Zaino-ites do. It is just that the vehicle is brand new and I wanted to do the best I could for appearance.
