Zaino topped with S100

Went out today and purchased some S100. Topped half the car with S100... didn't notice a difference at all. Perhaps it was my technique (use included sponge pad in up/down strokes then side/side, let dry for 3-5 minutes, get it off), I don't know. I have pics if anyone is interested, but I doubt you can spot where I used the S100 and where I did not. Maybe I'm looking "in the wrong spot", beats me. :nixweiss

Anyways, if anyone has suggestions to improve my technique, lemme know. Maybe you have to do the entire car to notice a difference... that or it just won't adhere to Zaino.

:(

Zaino is not something that really needs or wants to be topped. I tried it as well this fall and I could not tell a difference. Zaino is good on its own I would not top it at all.

Sorry but you are missing the point. Zaino is not made to be topped. If you want more depth you should remove the Zaino and throw some Klasse down or Blackfire then top with s100. I am thinking of going back to Zaino. The stuff I use, final polish topped with s100 seems a little fake looking to me. Zaino had a deep shine that made my car just glow and brought out the color in the paint. I am going to try Klasse this weekend and see hwo I like that and if I dont I am going back to Zaino.

Nah, I didn't miss the point at all, you missed the joke.

I missed the joke lol. Feel free to send me a PM with your instant messenger handle if you want to chat more abotu Zaino and such

Yes, you missed the joke. It's the internet, jokes are often missed, no big deal. I don't know why everyone gets so defensive and insulting and sarcastic. Stick to the topic at hand.

I'm online!!!

What I was trying to gather is whether or not my technique was flawed. Should I try letting it completely dry? Something to that effect.

On a side note, I had a ***** of a time getting all of the wax off, maybe I used too much. Not used to using a foam applicator with a paste, never done it before.

S100 is a wipe on, wipe off product. Instructions state to immediately remove. I usually apply the product to an entire panel before wiping off, and at that point, the product has barely glazed over. In either case, removal will be much easier than letting it sit as long as you did.

Also, there are many threads on topping Zaino with S100. Use the search function. :xyxthumbs
