Zaino topped with S100 results

Nice looking car, I'm loving those new RX8's. :up



Did you have Z2 or Z5 underneath? I topped off Z5 on one of my fenders but didn't notice too much difference. My blue is a bit "grayer" than yours.

Very nice! I know showing the pics here really doesn't show how well it really looks, look at my shots of my SC430, not as nice and sharp as it really is.



I did the same thing, but seeing it's red, after all the Zaino, I used Souveran paste and what a difference! Took down the high reflective look and gave it a VERY deep wet look!



I did a neighbor's car with Zaino base as well and topped with S100 over it and since it was silver metallic, the paint was just stunning, the metal flake just POP out at you! They could not believe thier eyes! I also gave them a nice spray bottle of Megs LT and two MF towels.



That's one sweet ride! RX8's are fun as hell!! One day I have to change my run-flat's to Pilot Sports on the SC430....

Well I must be really retarded.

I just topped half of my previously Zaino covered trunk with S100 and I can't see any difference.

My hood has EX-P on it - did half with S100 and once again I don't see any difference.



Is it me or something else ? :nixweiss

Spilchy, I think I have some old Armor All laying around in the garage. I'll give it a try on the wheel wells. Thanks for the tip.



tkr128, I have two coats of Z5 and two coats of Z2 under the S100. I don't see a lot of difference between the Z5/Z2 myself, but I always end with Z2 just because the directions say to.



Deanski, your SC430 looks great! Cool car. I agree, the metallic flake on mine is more noticeable with the S100. Even though it slightly darkened the paint, I can see the metallic flake as I approach the car easier than I could before. Weird effect.



kartoon, I don't know. Maybe the S100 doesn't have the same effect on your color. I could see it was definitely slightly darker after doing half the trunk, but once you get it all over the whole car, it's kind of hard to tell the difference.
