If the "correct" prep is done, the differences might total about 10-15% in optics.
The difference between carnauba waxes and true sealants will be more noticeable, yes, I agree. It's just by nature that they will though.
It sounds like Sludge prefers the carnauba wax look a bit more than a sealant.
