Zaino Question

I have a question for the Zaino user .My Wife just got a brand new 2005 Mustang. Since the paint is new is there really any need to apply the Z-5 polish first? The steps I plan to take are

Wash with Z-7

Clay

AIO

Z-2 Pro with ZFX ...... The Paint Color is Ledgend Lime Green

Z5 is meant to cover very light swirls and is likely not needed in your case. I think the products and steps you mention should give you excellent results. Post pics when you're done!
 
I don't even like Z5 for swirl hiding because it is minimul at best. I remove the swirls and apply Zaino. I use Z5 for extra protection and a better sunscreen on mainly Black cars, but occasionally on other Dark colors, or vehicles that sit in the hot sun all day. I wouldn't use it on a new Lime green car because there's not much reason too with the new z2. Z2 is better optically than z5 and the new formulation makes Z5 a luxury I'll keep for Black vehicles. That's just my opinion but try the z2 first I think you'll be happy.



Wash with z7 after AIO for best results, or at a minimum spray with z6 after AIO. If you haven't ordered don't forget z6, I think it makes removing residue after applying Zaino terribly easy and I like the way it leaves the surface. I hope that's not a pic of your wife TH, and the eye moves yuhuuck.
