Hello all,
Well, I've been reading through the archives quite a bit and must say that I've learned a great deal. However, I did have a few questions for you experts that I can't say I remember seeing answered as I've browsed back on the forum.
I've been a Zaino users for several years now. But one thing I've never really known is how often or under what circumstances one should go back and start over with Z1. And yes, I do still use Z1. Still haven't hopped on the ZFX bandwagon.
Assuming that the Zaino protection gained from Z1 and Z2 lasts 6 months or so, should one then go back and start over again with Z1? And if so, does that mean you should strip the protection again either by washing with Dawn, claying or a chemical cleaner so that Z1 can bond directly to the paint surface?
I welcome your recommendations or suggestions.
As for my other questions, I do recall seeing how many folks seem to have quite a time removing Klasse SG. Out of curiousity, is Klasse AIO as difficult to remove or is this just an issue with SG?
Further, I see a great many folks are satisfied with the cleaning power of AIO. However, since I'm using Zaino, should I choose a pure paint cleaner that does not leave a layer of protection as I believe AIO does? If AIO cleans and seals, I'm assuming that Z1 might not bond well with the AIO. Is that indeed the case?
Well, thanks to all for your input. Looks forward to conversing with you all again in the future. You are certainly a helpful bunch.
Well, on second thought, I might need to rethink that last statement. Upon further reflection, if anything, you all are probably just going to contribute to my delinquency. For instance, after reading many of the reviews, I'm now curious to try some of the products from 1Z, 4 Star and Jeff Werkstatt. Here I was happy with Zaino and now I once again find myself tempted to make sure the grass isn't greener elsewhere!
But I guess that's the cross we autopians must bear.
Over and out,
Jason
