Zaino Process vs. Klasse AIO

Obiously the AIO is an easier process, but what shows better results? A full zaino job or the Klasse AIO process w/ and w/out a carnauba on top?

Hey,

Just my personal opinion, but I would chose the Zaino. Actually using AIO to prep the surface and then 2 coats of Z5 Pro topped with 1 coat of Z2 Pro looks awesome.

IMO Klasse AIO with a sealant usually SG or CGs Top Coat looks better than Zaino. Duragloss is another option, but not one I have tried, although in pictures, looks better than Zaino. But then again, i just have something against Zaino. lol

I don't think that Zaino is the end all be all, but it is obviously a good sealant. But look at the Zaino process again. It is no longer than any other process. Wash, Clay, Polish, Sealant. The only extra step is the Z6 or Z8 wipedown and that is no big deal really. It gets a bad rap for very little extra work. I have never tried KSG, but I have used Prime Strong (like AIO) under my Zaino and it cme out well. Good luck.

AIO isn't as good as durable as it used to be. My philosophy is to use the most durable product as your base product. That is Zaino hands down. Then you can top with Z8 or AW. Also ZPC is an excellent paint cleaner and will remove far more defects than AIO(up to 1500 sanding marks). IMO a ZPC and Z5pro combo makes AIO obsolte (chances are most are going to polish with someting stronger prior to using AIO).

This is user subjective, not something that cannot be definitively answered. One man's vanilla is another's chocolate...and which is *better* depends on what YOU like.

That said, I have personally had better results (for me) from the Z system, compared to Klasse+any topper. I agree with wanna, I like to have the most durable product as a base, and I had found that to be Z over the years. Plus, I liked the look of Z, compared to K. Of course, I have moved on to other things, but that's my experience.

as for Mikes point I have found Z to be the most durable product but Duragloss is pretty durable as well. I'd reccomend Z first then Duragloss 601/105/AW over AIO/SG (DG is easier to use and probably as/more durable than Klasse)

I'm on my last quantities of AIO. I'll probably be:

1-trying prime from Werkstatt.

2-Poorboys EXP as my sealant.

3-50/50 Optimum Spray Wax/Carnauba JEtt mixture for monthly waxing

4-topped weekly with FK 425 for my anti static barrier.

How's that for brand cross pollenation?
