Zaino Paint Preparation Help?

DACP doesnt leave anything behind.

Washing will probably make the paint worse!

If your worried, use a paint cleanser or something like AIO afterwards.

Sorry for being so slow:o When you say DACP your talking about Dual Action Cleaner Polish right?

1)Will a wash after this clean up any fillers/oils so that Zaino will have no problems bonding.

2) Is DACP to abrasive for two year old, silver paint, with feint swirls/scratches etc.

Yes, DACP = Meguair's Dual Action Cleaner Polish

1. A Z-7 wash will take care of any oils/fillers from DACP.

2. DACP is not a very aggressive product. It'll probably be fine for your situation. However, you might want to try a ligher swirl-remover on a small section of your car first to see if that'll take care of your faint swirls. If it doesn't, then step up to DACP.

Um guys.... Any polish used today has some form of oil or silicon in them. Not being a smart A, but it's a known fact. They all have some type of Petroleum Distillates. No big deal if your doing wax!

Washing the finish with Dawn AFTER a polish PRIOR to Zaino will remove all oils/silicon. Just don't go too crazy with the amount and keep the finish on rinse or you may leave a slight film.

Zaino will now be able to bond with the finish. With the mix of ZFX/Z5 on a terry applicator and your all set.

If you have more concerns, please contact Zaino directly for proper application and finish prep.

Regards,

Deanski
