Zaino / OPS question

Are there any problems with topping OPS with Zaino Z2 or Z5?



It's a new car with soft paint, and I prefer the use of OPS in this instance. It goes on very easily, and leaves a beautiful finish. The customer wants the car topped with Zaino since he has some in his arsenal that he uses on other cars. I have Z-PC, but it takes much longer to apply than OPS.



Can I go straight from OPS to Z2, or should I do a quick pass with ZAIO inbetween?

You mean Poly Seal? If so skip it. It contains silicone oil and carnauba. Z2 won't bond optimally over it. ZPC leaves a clean surface for best bonding. IME PS doesn't do much correcting either.
 
Just follow with Z6 before using Z2. I have a customer who likes me to use Zaino but isn't picky about what I polish the car with. Final polishing with OPS, then Z6 and Z5 worked just fine.

Great Scott...I was hoping you'd chime in. I was thinking about a Z6 wipedown inbetween. Thanks.
