Zaino on a (sunglass) Lens

I would like to help prevent scratching on my sunglass lenses. So I was thinking about putting a layer of Zaino Z2 on them. Question is.. the lenses are polarized, so will the layer of wax interfere with that or even possibly remove some of the lense coatings?



Zaino says it is optically perfect...

BTW, they are bolle's if that makes a difference.
 
I cannot see (no pun intended) how Z will help stop scratches. It cannot do this for paint so I doubt it will help on glasses. Z could be used to clean and maintain a shine but that is about it.



As for the optics, Z would not interfere with the way light is altered
 
I use QS on my glasses and sunglasses, but I don't know if Zaino or any other product could protect them from scratches. Besides, some lenses are quite soft and may get scratched by just applying the stuff.
 
I think only a CASE protects from scratchig and I see no real benefit of applying anything to the lense as for vision......



the less on the lense the better so as not to distort light rays.......



A dry MF does wonders to glasses and shades...

all kidding aside though...zaino won't do ANYTHING to prevent scratches...
 
Zaino will help prevent scratches on sunglasses lenses. It will make them slick and so dust and dirt does not adhere and wipes off quickly and easier when you clean them.....that is the usually when they scratch.....when you clean them....
