Zaino experts

Since Zaino is well known for a very good sealant, it would be interesting to see if they would give the paste wax market a shot. Not likely, but never say never!

Seeing that most carnaubas have a hard time lasting 4 weeks I doubt it. Z8 looks great and last that long and doesn't cost you 75-10,000 dollars:bolt

Will zaino ever make a carnauba wax, spray or paste?

Zaino could offer a polymer wax ala Kare FP1000 that combines the best of both worlds. Looks and acts like Carnuba, but is synthetic. Not cross linked polymers ala Zaino. It could have great market appeal. We have to await the development world to see what we get and from whom.

I have asked Sal about that and he assured me that he would not. But then he also said that about an AIO product for a while and that finally came true so who knows. I do think that Sal feels that would be a step backwards and I kinda agree with him. That said I still think there is a demand and he could make some money on it. If he ever did you can bet it would not be released until it blew away just about every nuba including Vintage or Crystal Rock.

Zaino is time consuming, but the results of multiple layering is incredible. If they make a Nuba Ill try. The best wax Ive used to date is Magic Wax by Carsco. It makes black look like chrome through the lens.

I'd doubt it. Zaino is big on durability. The fact is, carnauba doesn't really offer adequate long-term production.

Greg

There are a couple 'carnaubas' that have great durability...in fact that's their claim to fame.

Fact 1 - Most 'carnaubas' are hybrid carnauba/polymer waxes.

Fact 2 - Straight polymer waxes have a hard time equalling a carnauba's depth/shimmer.

Given the above, it would make sense for Sal to go down that road and make a 'carnauba/polymer' blend that would offer the depth/shimmer of it's carnauba component with the durability of it's Zaino polymers.

If others can produce a 'carnauba' with almost Zaino durability, surely Sal could too...especially if he markets it a super-premium wax with matching price-tag.

Everything I've read and experienced suggests it's the carnauba and the unique way the wax molecules form an egg-grate type mesh over the smaller paint molecules of the paint film surface. :nixweiss

My combo now that nothing has been able to beat is a Z2 Pro base of 3 coats. Then alternating coats of Opti-Seal and Z8. I have never seen such shine and depth.

Frankly I'm waiting for Sal to put something new or updated out. I talked to him over a year ago when they were working on Z2 and Z5Pro with the ZFX already built in so no more mixing.
