Zaino CS Needed with Good Z2 Pro Usage and Z8 Grand Finale?

I am about to order some Zaino, and I am wondering if the CS is actually going to make any difference on my car. I religiously layer Z2 Pro each weekend, and use Z6 and sometimes Z8 to follow the Z2 Pro after it has cured.

My question is whether I will actually see any benefit from the CS. I have no issue buffing off the Z2 Pro so effort is not an issue - I am looking for appearance results.

Input and comments welcome. I have read many other threads on the CS but have not seen this exact question.

Thanks.

As I understand it, CS is to be used as your last step, no matter what Zaino products you use before ... the main benefit would be in longer-lasting protection. The web site says CS can go for up to 9 months. So, for example, you might go from layering z-2 every month to once every two or three months instead.

I'm going to say yes.... at least I did when I topped 2 coats of Z5 and a coat of Z2 with CS... it got that much wetter, deeper, shinier etc etc... and so easy to use it's almost sinful.

I would easily do a coat of CS every day if it were less expensive (or I were richer) :chuckle:

From Zainostore.com...

Can Z-2 or Z-5 PRO be layered over Z-CS?

Yes, but for maximum gloss and durability, Z-CS should be the final protectant product after new coats of Z-2 and/or Z-5 PRO. Using Z-CS over Z-2 or Z-5 PRO gives you the ultimate in gloss and protection.

You layer Z2 each week? I though I had issues (LOL).

Will you show us CS a year from now with 52 coats? (J/K)

CS is a great product, and a bottle should last you ~ a year with weekly applications, which is WAYYYYYYYY over kill.

I'm not sure if I'd go that route, but you seem to really enjoy the weekly therapy.

I bought CS because of the claimed 9 month protection....if its protection doesnt last anywhere near that, I won't be making another order. It looks good but not above and beyond other products.

Needing therapy is a bit harsh...:) I am an enthusiast, and I like a well protected BMW.

Thanks for the input guys...CS it is.

Ditto.

I see a slight increase in gloss, wetness, slickness is substandially augmented and an almost carnauba-like warmth without decreasing the Zaino crispness in the final appearance. Very subtle but worth the addition to my regimen.

:idea Instead of applying Z2PRO once a week, you can just CS. There is at least 40 applications per bottle.

Darren i found on my truck if you layer too much you actually start getting a hazy look to the paint. what is too much? i don't know but at one point i had 20 coats of z-5/z-2 on my truck. for one reason or another i needed to use my random orbital buffer to a section and the difference between the cleaned section and the rest of the truck with 20 coats was clear. i would describe it as a dust like haze.

so i dawned, z-pc'd the entire truck, clayed, and started over. now i don't let more than 5-8 coats get on before starting over (which for me is every 6 months). i just wash, z-6, then z-8. now i (we) got z-cs to ensure that the under coats last.

I was layering Z5 each week until Z8. I then used Z8 after each wash. I will now do CS after each wash. I love the WOW factor that CS has. You can definately tell the difference CS makes.

I too only care about appearance , which why CS is so effective. And to boot you get the longest protection in the industry ( I know because I have tested all the flavors). Once I give ZAIO another month or so I will be able to give a evaluation on the AIO's.

I have ZAIO on 2 vehicles, JW PA on another, OPS on another and DG on the other.

IMO weeekly applications of any Zaino product is overkill but I'm sure Sal doesn't mind. I'd reccomend getting the CS-to me it seems to have a wetter appearance than Z2pro. If you plan to apply CS frequently you could skip the Z8.
