Thanks for your response guys. But I’m just trying to figure out  if it is possible to layer Zaino on top of nuba without bonding problems
The whole purpose of putting CS on top of nuba is to (if possible) layer Zaino without removing nuba. I assumed if you can put CS on top of anything and it will bond a quote from Zaino website
“1.You can even use Z-CS as a top coat to add high-gloss and improved durability to ANY other manufacturer's product.
2. Can Z-CS be used over another manufacturer's product?
Sure. While results may vary, we are aware that some beta testers used Z-CS over fully cured wax products with excellent results. Z-CS did increase gloss and durability over other manufacturer products. If you'd like to experiment yourself, make sure the product that you're applying Z-CS to has fully cured. As a general rule however, you should not apply Z-CS while any other manufacturer's product is not fully cured. We cannot offer other manufacturer specific cure times, but generally it can take 8-12 hours after application. Z-CS was designed and engineered for use with Zaino Show Car Polish Products.
And also Z5/Z2 can be layered over CS, another quote:
“Can Z-2 or Z-5 PRO be layered over Z-CS?
Yes, but for maximum gloss and durability, Z-CS should be the final protectant product after new coats of Z-2 and/or Z-5 PRO. Using Z-CS over Z-2 or Z-5 PRO gives you the ultimate in gloss and protection.
So I was just wondering if adding CS on top of nuba will allow me to layer Zaino without any problems. Because if I had to strip nuba before adding layers of Zaino that wouldn’t make any sense and would just add more work.
The process that I was thinking about would be (I already have Zaino on my car so I will omit the “first time Zaino user process):
1. Wash the car with ONR
2. Z-6 wpedown
3. Apply Z2/Z5 (if more than one coat than used with ZFX with Z-6 wipedowns between each coat)
4. Then apply a coat of nuba of choice ( I was thinkig Souveran Paste wax the car is 2008 MINI Cooper S red/black combo)
5. Wait for nuba to fully cure (have no idea how long nuba cures??)
6. Then apply a coat of CS (according to Zaino web page it should bond properly)
That would be the process, and next time I will wash the car I should be able to apply Z2/Z5 because top coat on the car is CS and Z2/Z5 will bond to that with no problems according to Zaino web page.
I have no idea if anything of that makes sense to anyone, but just trying to figure out if my theory would work. Maybe some of you guys have tried that, and can help me out on this. I would try this myself, but just two weeks ago I did purchased the Zaino products, and I do not have any nuba wax on hand. Also I don’t want to spend around $80 on something that I will not use, because I will not work well with the Zaino system. Just trying to put together SHINE+PROTECTION+WETNESS+HOW LONG IT WILL LAST. If this will not work I will just stick to Zaino but I would like to put the wetness and deep look on nuba to it. ( And You guys created this monster {me}JUST J/K, before autopia any OTC product was excellent, but not any more my wife tells me that I should marry autopia not her {but now when she got the MINI she is washing and waxing it with me} Thank guys and sorry for the long post.
