Zaino Clear Seal Pictures

There may be more value in this discussion if the Zaino crew would read and comprehend the posts before running to defend their view / product.

“blkZ28Conv: Initial evaluation would be to easy. AW has a film that can easy be felt after application. CS is complete dry.

“RET: distinguish from looks which product was applied to each sample

“blkZ28Conv: Let's perform this test 16 weeks out after weekly washing and no QD'ing and see what the results would be

My original Offer still stands.

“RET: Would you care to bet if $7 worth of AW would last as long as $7 worth of CS?

Thanks

RET

oHHHH now we don't care about sleekness or any tactile feature a product brings to the table.

As I stated before yes, I will take that bet. 1.5 oz CS (6 applications)verses 22oz of AW. No brainer.

Actually it is unfair to drag DG into a Zaino discuss. DG makes fine OTC products and one of the few that would touch my vehicle. Neverthess, a trained experience eye could easily tell the differences of these 2 products on a dark colored vehicle upon initial application and definitely a few washes down the road.

Or would you care to bet if you could pick which side of a car's hood has which product on it?

I would. The appearance between CS and AW are different and if we stretch this to after the first wash, one could feel and see the difference.

Great things sometimes arrive in small packages.

I have BOTH products on hand.

Talk to Zaino about my streaking. I did a QD of Crystal Mist right before CS. And they said that was the problem. The nuba in CM did not cure. So the CS streaked. A little Meg QD cured the problem. Looks great.

I know its OTC and I know its not fair .....so don't forget to calc the average shipping costs into your $7 bucks worth of product.

Thanks

I feel like this has turned into a debate on abortion.

LOL.....I truly like some of Zaino’s products and there are some Zaino products that I wouldn’t use even if Sal gave me a 55-gallon drum.

I just get’s old seeing the Z-Heads beat down anyone who questions the performance, value, or shares a different opinion of the subjective aspects of the product results.

IMO there is no value to this board in implying that people are less demanding because they use or prefer product over Z-X.

An undeniable factor to Z-Polishes are that they are very durable, quite possibly THE Benchmark product for that category, yet the value of durability is still subjective (important to some, not to all).

In other categories such as ease of use, look, feel and price…IMO there is no value in belittling other’s opinions by superseding your own values (i.e. You think Z-Whatever is expense, and I say I would pay 3x the price for Z-whatever, good things come in small packages…bla, bla, bla)

Most everything in this world has a good and a bad (two side to every coin) the importance of a detailing product’s “goods and badsâ€ are subjective to our own value filters…but if we ever stop listing to each other’s sides then it would be easy to become fanatically bias in our representations.

It always ok for someone to put a product up against zaino and make claims. But when those claims are refuted or discused in any way by someone who has experience with both products, its never ok.

Mr Joshtpa, when was the last time you used zaino? You claim you don't like the look of it which is fine. But what is your experience level with the product?

Then we have Mr DeiselMDX who said he has used zaino in the past, but has not offered any positive input or help to anyone in this thread.

I have not used Cs therefor I cant help, I read to see how products work in real world. BTW buying CS next week, lol I just like to get a rise out of some of you

Its all good in the hood, smile you might like yourself

Just playin buddy, lol

I completely understand that folks like product 'x' for various reasons vs. product 'y', and there isn't anything wrong with that.

Selection and competition are great for the market, right?

What grabs my shorts is when folks chime in that haven't tried product 'x', but they have a full fledged opinion of the product, take a post off track, etc.... I think you guys know what I'm talking about.

We're not going to learn much about what CS does or doesn't do, how to apply it, lessons learned, etc... if we sling mud back and forth. This applies for any product posted on the board.

I'll admit that I contributed to one of the posts that compared Zaino to DG, and that was a mistake. For that, I apologize. I really could care less if you like product x, y, or z. I'm not a manufacturer or salesman, but I do get a bit disgusted when fact and fiction get mixed in the blender.

I'm more interested in understanding product uses, characteristics, durability, looks, how the product performs in various climates or vs. similar products, tips & tricks, etc...

That's why we have a board, and users of various products from across the globe, right?

btw.. i love how car domain can just take pictures of my car and just put there logo.. and copyright it.. do i have some rights over that shiz or what haha?

Fobia, your car has some very nice gloss and the depth is very apparent. How long ago was the Z5pro and CS done? Do you drive it daily?

I dont dispute that tons of people like their products and think they are the best out there. I personally love Z-5 pro. I like the ease of use of CS as well. But overall shine I dont think is the best out there. I just get sick and tired if someone disputes it or does not like it "the best", they get beat down by the "z heads" that they "must be doing something wrong" or they are crazy.

I agree, but it is hard with these threads in that everytime someone says something in anything contradiction with Z products, you get lambasted with "you are doing it wrong".

For those who need an example of how a product discussion should be orchestated. Here is an example.

No injections about pricing, no "my" product looks better, no negative feedback about appearance that may not meet the views criteria of beauty, no mention about durability or lack of, etc.

But that wasn't a product discussion, that was just "look, I detailed this car" and "wow, that looks nice".

It's more than a bit like religion. There is the Zaino religion, the Meg's religion, the CG's religion, Pb's, DG, etc. The followers range from devout to not-so-devout, from the "I'll only use XYZ products" to the "supermarket *insert religion here*'s" who pick and choose what parts of their faith to observe. Some faithful allow others the pursuit of their own faith, while others insist that all conform, and bristle at the suggestion that their faith isn't the only "true" one or that their scripture or customs are being interpreted incorrectly or disrespected. And of course there are those that have lost faith or changed theirs.

There's room in the world for all faiths. Sometimes I think you Z-heads should talk Sal into hosting a forum on his site, where all but the Z-word is verboten...I guess that would be "heaven". :chuckle:

YUP!

That is an excellent example of a pat on the back for a fine job done and with a blend of products…..it’s not even close to a “discussion about productâ€.

Also….most of the products used in that detail have been around for awhile…their subjective performance has been tested by a mass of different people with different value perspectives (not by a chosen few).

One of the reason that other brands or products say….Souverän may not generate such frequent “heated discussionsâ€ is due to the lack of fanatical push from the users of the product.

There are plenty of Souverän users who are passionate about “theirâ€ results from using “their favoriteâ€ but I don’t see frequent “fanatical beat downsâ€ like I see when discussing Zaino products.

There is a difference in being Exuberant or Passionate and being a fanatic.

Personally, I don’t speculate on what I perceive to be fanatic opinions, or those opinions being attached to ulterior motives, or monetary alliances…it would be point less for me to speculate on hidden agendas.

If an opinion is driven by hidden agendas or by a fanatical mentality it will generally sound the same.

Regards

RET

That is just it with Z Heads. They only want a "pat on the back" and never anyone to question or not like the product.
