Zaino and stains

First do not try to remove by increasing buffing pressure. Zaino should not require excessive pressure.

Next try the Z6 (QD) and buff lightly - No results

Z7 soap wipe - No results

Very mild paint cleanser - Not results.

You are at a crossroads. These white spots may actually be defects (microscopic craters) in the finish filled with dried Zaino. Saturate a Q-tip with isopropyl alcohol and try to remove a spot - No results.

At this point you will need to test this area with a stronger abrasive and PC. If this eliminates the defect. Well you know what you are up against. Re-prepping with surface leveling polishing step.

Hope this helps.:wavey

GEPC by hand or PC. If you are doing this there is not real need to use isopropyl bath. Zaino will be removed mechanically by the GEPC.

Before doing the whole car with Zaino. Re-apply to that problem area you mentioned. If okay proceed to do remainder of vehicle. If not, as mentioned in my previous post the defects may be deeper than GEPC can rectify. At this point you may need to SMR with PC / GEPC / Z7 ( optional in my opinion) than Zaino.

Hope this helps.:wavey

Thanks for the excellent info guys. Actually the car is pretty new and I'd just recently did the PC+SMR+GEPC due to swirls created by a complimentary car wash. I am pretty sure the surface is good.

Time to torture my back once again... will keep you guys updated. Can't believe I'm having such big headaches. :(

Interesting idea with the Iso, but the paint is my concern as well. I'm assuming you have to wash and protect that area again right after. I have a few of those white pinheads on mine.
