I didnt want to steal Bill's thunder on his thread "The Wet Vett" but I wanted to show off Wet Ice over Fire topped with Z8. Here is a pic from the Worcester Summer Nationals, in Worcester Massachusetts this past weekend. This is my '50 Chevy Streetrod. The Z8 really gives the Blackfire great pop...if more pop is even possible! ENJOY!

BTW, sorry about the half naked guy on the right. It's hard to keep people away in order to take pictures.

Hey there's no stealing thunder around here!!!:D

It's all about what we're all so passionate about!

I'll have to agree, Z8 over Blackfire is one of the slickest, wettest finishes I've ever seen. It's my number one combo!!!:D:clap::D:clap:

Really I just wanted to show off! I have yet to try BF on a red car, after seeing your Vett and a few others I may have to steal a friend's red Civic Si just so I can try it.

I even used the Wet Ice on the flat paint on the interior...darkened it just a little but makes dusting it much nicer.

Hey Mike... I just had to comment one more time on your car! GORGEOUS!!!

That looks an aweful lot like '67 Corvette Nassau Blue... what a beautiful color!!!:drool5::drool5::drool5:

HA, thanks Bill. It's actually a Dupont color that we picked from an industrial coatings color book. It really is as fun to drive as it looks too. It is far from a trailer queen so it can be a challenge to keep clean but whats the point in having a car if you cant drive it?

Thanks again!

My sentiments exactly!!!

Here's my conversation with a friend of mine when we were talking about how much he drives his '67 Vette.

"Hey Bill, I put 267 miles on that car last year!!! [proud that he had driven it]:out:

"I put 267 miles on mine yesterday.

Yes it is. He polished it for the World of Wheel in Boston last January. He did an amazing job and made my job very easy for this show.

Ryan.....I think that is the guy whose camera I am gonna steal to upload his recent detail pictures. While Im at it I might as well grab that RickRack guys too.

Glad it worked out great for you Mike!

I can't wait to get the car this weekend and work my magic on it. I want this to spin heads for the private show coming up.:D
