Z8 Experiences??

Hey Guys,

I was wondering what you are seeing with Z8. What so you see that makes it different/better than Z6?

I have a dark blue Metallic Maxx that I'm about to polish and Z2-Pro. I was thinking of picking up some Z8 but wanted some opinions/tips etc first.

Thanks!

Have only used Z-8 on one detail. My experience says that i do not see much difference from the use of Z-6 versus Z-8. But as i say this i have to mention that I like the Zaino products very much. They have done what they have advertised. So I am satisfied with all the products.

Just because I cannot see the difference between Z-6 versus Z-8 does not mean that there are not any differences. I believe that the difference is that the Z-8 enhances the protection of Z-2 Pro. I only have a few weeks invested to make a comparison but I am here to report that the vehicle that I detailed a few weeks ago is still glimmering and shiny. The Z-8 has been used several times and the shine is as it was when i completed the detail.

I am happy with the results and have just purchased more Zaino products with which to do other details for friends of mine here in Alaska. I am anxious to return home and see what my wifes car looks like after seven months of little or no care. Will report and post pictures in October when I return to Texas.

I have found z8 to have no more slickness than just the z2pro. It may be the heat and humidity, i dont know, but as of right now, im not overly impressed.

Now the DP spray sealant produces alot of slickness.

I find the slickness and depth of Z8 to be increased over Z6. I've also noticed that it seems to take 12-24 hrs. to realize the full results of Z8.

If Z8 can make Z2Pro look better and feel slicker, imagine what it can do to other LSPs, like NXT.
I've tried it on UPP, NXT and #21. It seemed to enhance look and slickness on the Meg's LSPs. Not so much UPP.

Pretty much my experience too. Z6 seems to be shiny and reflective, like Z2. Z8 is like Zaino's version of a carnauba topper. It really warms up the look. But it really comes on after it has had a chance to cure.

Same here. Very slick, increased gloss, and it seems to take a half a day for it's look to come through.

Yes! That is my experience too! The Z6 is shiny but the Z8 is super slick and adds depth. It does need a bit of time to fully "cure" but once it does my car really looks incredible.

I don't know if it's the new Z2-Pro, the Z8 or the combination of both but I've noticed that the Z2 Pro/Z8 combo is much slicker and more durable than the old Z2/Z6. After several washings it's still very much in evidence and resists bugs, dirt and tar and is very easy to QD.

I do have one criticism though. It seems that the Z8 tends to streak more. I've been putting it on right after applying Z2-Pro and am wondering if I should wait a day or more and give the Z2P some time to cure before putting on what is basically a booster coat. It might be too much product all at once.
