BMW Z435i Correction By The One And Only...Tuscarora Dave

Hey Guys/Gals,
I'm excited to report that Dave is coming out this weekend to help me correct my car's finish. Before I purchase a machine, pads, product, Dave is going to teach me and together we will see what works best for my car.

I told my wife to get plenty of hotdogs for our "detail class." :D
I'm sure Dave will post before and after pics of the panels we get to correct.

We'll keep you posted!

:yourrock I was awaiting Kief's confirmation of 11 am this Saturday. This is as good a way to confirm as any. Thanks Kief, See you Saturday.:dcrules

Ok You heard the man, I will be sure to have my camera with me. You can expect pics before Monday.:D

Something must be acting up with our emails.

I emailed you right back to confirm 11 and asked what else you would like to eat/drink.
I also said you might want to leave Jack home as my 2 German Shepherds may not like that so much :D

Have a blast Kief !!

Don;t forget the wasabi for the hot dogs.

And the Diet Pepsi!

Thanks Ron for connecting me with Dave. I cannot wait to have my Bimmer's paint finish corrected from those monsters at the dealership.

Sounds fun. Wish I could garner enough interest for a small get together around my area... :(

Same here; I'd love to hold a class in my area for folks, but there seems to be very low interest. Probably because there are so many lazy people who are scared to detail their rides the right way. :wall

See you tomorrow Dave! :yay
I'm going home now to wash and clay (after the sun goes down) the Batmobile. Of course after a sprited drive with the top down!

Perfect weather for the owner of a brand new convertible! :lmfao

A HUGE :yaythank you to Dave for coming out yesterday and basically spending the enitre day teaching me about using different machines, pads, products, etc....! You're great guy and I wish you all the best!

We concentrated on my Z's hood and experimented with different PB's SSR and pads. After a brief rest for some hotdogs (without Wasabi), Dave let me get a feel of using a DA. By the end of the day, Dave went over the entire hood again using his Flex and it looks GREAT!!! My only regret is not having Dave correct the roof and trunk as I wanted to practice on those once I get my supplies.

This morning I wanted to try EXP again, even though Dave generously gave me a bottle of PwS. Absoluetly beautiful!!! Really I should have just let Dave finish the other panels :wall

Enjoy the pics!

Looked like the weather cooperated perfectly too. There's nothing like having a skilled guy like Dave show you hands on technique. I wish I had that years ago!

It's actually a good idea to save the roof and rear deck lid as they are easy horizontal panels to apply some of the things you saw re: machine, pad, product, technique, arm speed, pad rotational speed, pressure etc. A lot of what Dave is very adept at came after a LOT of practice and lots of us just need more practice. It gets easier the more you do it.
