Z2, Z5 or both for silver paint

Okay, I'll add to the confusion then... (I tried to recommend a simple process, but no... like a girliegirl)

AIO is not just a chemical cleaner. It has an abrasive package too. The old pre-VOC formula used a 1 micron particle size, the new nano formulas work with much smaller ones - but there ARE abrasives in these products. How does this sound BMW?

One of the members here on Autopia has done his G35 with Zaino on silver metallic and boy does it look great!!

Since I use Zaino and have for some time off and on, the best way is to use both Z5-Pro and Z2-Pro. But wait.... Zaino has new products in development! One is an AIO type product, another is a wipe-on, walk away sealant.

I've always used both Z5/Z2 all the time. Z5 to do any minor filling if needed and to create the base for Z2 which is the clearest sealant in the Zaino line. Between each one, Z6 was used and Z8 at the end of the last Z2 coat.

I find it easy to maintain, lasts a good long time and is deeper looking than older Zaino.

Give them a try, you'll be very happy in the end!!:2thumbs:

Yeah, since they are coming out with that I will wait for it...sounds much easier.

I just assumed that since you were implying that there are too many steps, that it meant it was more difficult than other sealants to use.

Why not give it a try, then be the judge yourself?

not difficult, just seems super time consuming

Yea, make sure you see these as big as possible. This is G35stilez new car. He has a few more in other threads that are just insane!

Me, I went with black on my Porsche 997 C2S. Damn it's soft paint! But it sure looks good with Zaino on it!!

to be honest, applications like the above are why I haven't used Zaino yet. That's five applications of Zaino products to the entire car....that must take forever.

little bit of tme now means less time in the future
