i use the edge green pad (4 inch) for light polishing orange for heavy (zpc) but i would like to see what others use

White LC. Leaves a good finish while thoroughly breaking down the mild abrasives.



FWIW, I tried ZAIO by hand with a soft foam applicator and it left marring. So IME the stiffer the pad, the better.

What kind of paint was that on? I've only used my ZAIO a few times so far, but on GMC clear it's pretty much functionally nonabrasive (OTOH, on some exterior plastics on the Audis it's *VERY* abrasive).



On the Yukon, I used a red Griot's waxing pad. Dunno if it's the same as other red pads or not (the Griot's *orange* pad is unique among orange pads).
