Z-8 on non zaino stuff

I was looking into trying some CG products but I still have a bottle of Z-8. would it be alright if I used the Z-8 on anothe rproduct?
 
I know Z8 works very well over AJ (and Zaino products, of course). I haven't tried it over anything else, yet.
 
Z8 works great over all sealants I have tried it with. AJ/AJT, Opti-Seal, EX-P and DP's Premium Surface Shield. Works just as well over them as it does over Z2 and Z5.

That's been my experience. I've used Z8 on top of many products . . . always got great temporary bling and slickness, even over waxes, but any long-lasting effect was usually over Zaino, DG, AJ,or Klasse.

Guess i have to get a bottle of Z8 for my AJTed paint! :grinno:
 
Z8 has always worked for me over sealants (CG M-Seal, JetSeal, WG DGPS, PoliSeal, Opti-Seal) and waxes (LS, NB, Zymol Atlantique, Titanium, CG Petes, 5050). Gives an added depth to it.
 
Z8 should work well over any (cured) sealant. I've used with many of those listd already plus a number of others and have always had great success.



However, a new fav of mine is Z6 PolyCharged . It provides a deeper gloss than Z8, IME. Durability? Don't know cuz I'm washing each weekend and reapplying (2x with a few hours inbetween).

Z-8 is good for about 1 week's worth of protection on a regularly Zainoed car. It's anybody's guess at what you'll get on any other product.

I've gotton several weeks out of Z8 by itself on bare paint outside 24/7. I'd guess most would get 4+ weeks out of it.
 
I've asked this question and by Sal's own admission, Z-8 can only be verified for 1 week on non-protected paint. (without Z-2, Z-3, Z-5)



If you've gotten longer, how do you know it's the Z-8 and not what's under it?
 
I go by the appearance. Z8 has its own very wet look and for me, that look seems to last 3-4 weeks before it begins to diminish.
 
ok, so I got me some P21S paste wax. my truck has been treated with zaino so after a wash I used the P21S and it looked AMAZING. then I thought about spraying it down with Z8...I got TONS of compliments !! I know I know.... useless without pics, I gotta hit the truck one last time with a thorough cleaning on friday so I'll try to get some pics posted...
