Ok Guys,
Getting ready to detail my 2005 Corolla XRS. It is black sand pearl, which is a black with lots of metal flake in the paint.
The car has mild to moderate swirls which will be addressed of course. I have been keeping up with autopians for long
enough to know the basics, but need some hands on!
This is what I want to accomplish (if possible):
1) Remove the "high spots" in the paint and get rid of some orange peel
2) Really bring out that flake, and make the metallic POP!
This car sees the road 1-3 times per week and is NEVER in the rain, so the durable factor of wax or sealant is not as much
an issue as it would be with a car that lives outside.
I have decided to go with Menzerna due to TONS of positive feedback, but WHICH one, I'm not sure.
I have the following, but can buy whatever it takes:
Meg Swirl Mark Remover 2.0
Meg Quick Clay
Meg #7 Show Car Glaze
Race Glaze Polish / Sealant
ECP Inc. Technician's Choice TEC565/32 Micro Glaze Swirl Remover*
*The guy at the local detail shop sold me this, but I dunno....nobody has ever heard of it*
OK YOUR TURN!
WHAT WOULD YOU DO????
Thanks for all the help and feedback!
