your favorite sealant & why

the Klasse twins for me....easy to use, terrific durability, cost effective, does not stain trim, and the versatility of AIO is unbeatable.

hoo - boy - I think I have more sealants than xbox games at the moment -



I have -Z2,FMJ,Duragloss,Tropicare,EX,UPP,WG,



If I had to pick only one and the rest were carted away - I would have to say UPP..but...I am still in the getting to know you stages of Tropicare...talk to me this weekend after I put on the second coat.

Why would you say TC-3 is a sealant? It's a great polish/wax, leaves a very nice shine, but durabilty wise not like UPP, EX-P, EX, Zaino, SG, just MHO.
 
I have only tried Z2/Z5, Wolfgang, EX-P and NXT. Out of those I think I would have to pick EX-P for looks vs durability vs ease of use. Although Wolfgang is a close second in my experience (Still beading on a daily driven, but garaged SUV I did back around April).
 
i have only used waxes, until a few months ago, i bought klasse aio and sg and it knocked my socks off. i had trouble with sg, applying it first time, but the second try at it was pretty easy. i really like sg, however knowing that other sealants were available i was curious george. i recieved a few days ago ex-p and upp. i'll hopefully get to try these before winter.
 
Zaino (Z2/Z5) because I like the reflectivity, shine, slickness and durability.

For ME, I haven't had as much slickness with Klasse SG.



Scottwax throwing in #16 because of it's durability maybe ?
 
Zaino.



Hands-down durability winner of them all. Very easy to apply/remove. Layerability, UV protection, and very reflective finish which I love. I also love how every wash with Z7 totally seems to revive the surface gloss. Also, a very little amount goes a long, long way!

i had UPP and gave it away, i used it over AIO on black and i didnt like the way it came out.



But i do perfer AIO/WG/ then maybe P21 now that looks killer
 
Well I think every sealant made has been mentioned here in this thread. It's all just a matter of personal opinion:) I do believe they are all good products. Even Though I havn't used many of them I would trust my fellow Autopians and give a couple of them a try! :D
 
I like EX-P on lighter colors, especially metallics. For darker colors I like AIO/SG, EX and WG. So many great products to choose from these days!

If I had to use just one sealant, it would have to be Zaino, I sure would miss trying out all of the newer sealants though! :lol



Zaino because of the ease and speed of application (3 layers in 45 minutes using ZFX), proven durability and the insane "bling bling" reflectivity it offers.



Just my 2 cents...
