Your actual MPG

2005 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V-8 AWD - 15.8mpg(US) around town; 19mpg(US) highway

2005 Ford Freestyle AWD (wifes) - 19.1mpg (US) around town

1996 Porsche 911 (993) Carrera 4 Cabriolet - who cares, it's a hoot!!! :D (I've never done the math, and I don't want to.....especially as I'm pumpin' premium into it.)

I need to get myself a Protege. What kind of mileage did your Maxima get.

The Maxima got low 20s around town, and usually 28-30 on the hwy. I could occasionally get higher than 30 if I cruised at 55mph or something. That took premium too.

I keep a log of the mileage in the srt-4, with just city driving im getting ~21 mpg when i drive nicely and stay out of boost (which is oh so hard to do lol). the epa rating is 22 so im not that far off. to tell you the truth, i was almost surprised, over at my srt forum, people are always complaining about crappy mileage and i'm getting pretty decent mileage. I just got the oil changed so I should see an increase in my mileage. i have an intake, throttle body, exhaust, intercooler pipes, and O2 housing on order so by freeing up restrictions in the piping, I should see even better mileage. Next round of upgrades are going to include a boost controller and a fuel computer so i can lean it out (these car run insanely rich from the factory) and lower the boost for everyday driving, these also will help out my mileage.

2003 Mustang Cobra, 281 Supercharged V8, 400 HP...best ever tank, 23...all in town, 13. (Can't resist hearing the SC whine.) Seems to average about 18 with mixed driving. Premium.

2005 Ford Excursion, 7600 pounds, 400ci V10, averaging 8.5 mixed. I have seen the average MPG readout as high as 13.0 on the highway. Regular.

2000 Viper GTS...no idea. Premium.

1972 Pymouth Scamp, restored, trailered...see above Excursion for MPG. (I can take it to a show 100 miles away and the guage doesn't move!)

1997 F150 Roughly 15

1998 Crown vic Average 18 city 22 highway

1994 Ford Aspire Average 35 overall. Best 43 mpg =)

The Vic and the Aspire I track everytime I get gas. The truck depresses me too much to keep a notebook.

91' Mustang LX Coupe - Supercharged - 650-700rwhp ~ A whopping .25mpg - .50mpg tops :D

I usually put 5 gallons of C16 at a time, and get around 5 to 6 quarter mile passes before having to refill it, then again, I don't run it dry either.

And on my daily driver - 04' Expedition 5.4liter Triton V8 ~ 12-14mpg city and 16-18mpg highway

If you wanted to put a positive spin on it you get 3.3 gpm......

True, but if you don't count the time idling around the pits, I run high 9, low 10 second 1/4 miles so that actually puts me around a half to one gallon of fuel per 10 seconds..........is that close to what you already said?

The car is actually quite conservative on fuel driving around normally, it's WOT that sucks it up. I have 83lb/hr fuel injectors and run them around 65% duty cycle at WOT. Now, during normal driving conditions, they are barely even opening, but how often does that happen. :xyxthumbs

03 4Runner V6 auto: 24 mpg highway, 18 city

99 Corolla auto: 35 highway, 21 city

AC on about 90% of the time.

05.5 VW Jetta...I5, 6 speed auto.... I do mostly in town/city driving, and usually get about 22-23 MPG, and that is with only 1800 miles. I suspect it will get better with time. A/C on at 80, I get about 31, and with the air off at 75, I can push 33. Much better than my 04 GTO that got about 18.5 at 75 with the AC on....and that was pushing it!

Not sure what the '92 Mazda Miata was rated at, but my driving is largely highway, with DC rush hour added in for fun. I average in the 34-36 range. It does use premium (advanced timing) but the mileage difference is worth the extra $2.00 at fill up time. The power difference is also worthwhile.

I was getting 44-46mpg with a 70/30 highway/city daily drive of 130-150mile's per day on 16" rims. But I just had my ecu remapped and put some 17" rims on and am now averaging about 40-42, I'm also driving a bit faster and more aggressively with the new power :D Diesels rock!

04 GT PT Cruiser auto stick 5200 miles:

Typically 16 in town with no A/C ; 14.7 with A/C (heavy foot for both). I have pulled 18 with no A/C. Recently got 18.8 on Freeway with A/C and cruise set at 85. GT owners generally say best mileage occurs after 6000. I have been trying for mileage but the car likes to go, or maybe it is me!

I'm gonna get in on this one, cause I actually have mpg thats respectable now! Mazda 626 I4, 5 spd, 33.4 all city a/c 40% of the time. All highway is around 40.
