Your actual MPG

Lately, 25-27 mpg with the AC on 75% of the time. This is about 60/40 (highway/city).

Without AC, 29-31 mpg with the same type of driving.

I do about 70-80 mph on the highways and shift around 4k of 8100rpm on most shifts. I have a fully bolt-on modded 1996 Integra GSR with almost 100k on the clock.

Heheh, I'm pretty sure the English are the other folks that use the english system... ;)
Well we do use the "English" system, but US Gallons are different from UK Gallons and just to confuse things further when discussing motoring issues, our petrol octane rating is measured in RON whereas in the US & Canada I believe it is a mixture of RON and MON (or "pump octane").

For pretty much everything else, we've switched over to metric but distances on road signs, speed limits etc. are still given in miles. The Republic of Ireland recently completed the switch to kilometres for road distance and all new cars sold there now have the main speedo numbers in km/h.

Simple isn't it :D

The Jeep averages 15 mpg in the city, 21 on the highway.

The F-150 averages 13 mpg around town, and 18 on the highway.

The Mustang averages 16 mpg around town, 22 on the highway.

My daily ride is now the '87 325Is. It gets about 26 to 27 mpg on the daily commute (40 miles one way on two lane roads). It really beats the 14 to 15 mpg I was getting in the Expy.

Averaged mine out driving home on the motorway today - at a constant 80mph she was averaging 49.1mpg. City driving it drops a bit and at lower motorway speeds she'll crack 60mpg.

I get an average of 50 miles per gallon (uk) on my daily trip to work and back of 65 miles (On holiday on the german autobahn I managed to reach 60 miles per gallon.) and that's with the air con switched on.

The car is an Audi A6 1.9 Tdi SE avant with 138000 miles on the clock!

Escalade (5.7 L) (daily driver - I commute a total of 9 miles a day :D): 11-12 mpg city

17mpg on highway @70-80 mph

Z28(5.7 L): 15 city

22mpg - highway @70-80 mph

LS400 (4.0 L) (wife's daily driver - she drives about 5 miles a day :woot: ) (17-18 mpg) - city 25 mpg

highway @ 70-80 mph

My car, the Subaru Impreza Turbo gets along with 20-25 Mpg on normal use.

Things change however on track, more like 5-7 Mpg...

Mazda Protege LX 5spd 1.6L

Currently at 226 miles and the fuel tank needle is right on the half-tank mark (13gal tank). About 70/30 Hwy/City mix.

Last time I filled up I got 248 miles on 6.33 gallons = 39.18mpg with nearly 100% highway driving at 65mph with the cruise on. No A/C use.

I need to get myself a Protege. What kind of mileage did your Maxima get.

I'm not really sure what my SS gets, because I get depressed when I try to figure it. I fill up every 180-200 miles and I think it usually has just under 1/4 tank left. 3000 stall converter and 3.73s definitely didnt help me with mileage. Oh yeah, Timing is advanced too, so I have to run 93 octane....costs me about $45-50 a week here in GA.
